We had an article recently about why don’t men take their wives’ names. Like, this guy, I’m thinking if my last name was tied to an accomplice to fascism like that, and I could change it to that of a supermodel and sometime hacker or whatever, I might be Josh Kloss from now on. Oh, absolutely.  The people saying “she should have been saying this all along” don’t seem to understand that she built political capital up by not doing so.  She’s built herself a PR empire in the meantime, and now when she talks, people listen.

I think that’s what’s meant by the “Cool Girl” phenomenon, to some extent at least.

I suck at video games, though.  This sounds like it’s just the cutscenes, which is really all I want.  It’s like a Bioware game without having to kill a bunch of shit to get to the conversations.

Not to mention this defense kind of pisses on the movement she helped kick off.  Fortunately, I think the reaction is well past critical mass at this point; #metoo is not particularly dependent upon her.  It’s still a dick move, though.

I think he simply sees his own reflection in Trump’s narcissistic bombast.  I think it’s just recognition of a kindred spirit in terms of megalomania.

I would not be surprised if the equivalent has occurred in the parts of the Muslim world where alcohol is illegal.
