I have to ask, how did that go over?

Swiftie here. Wholly agree.
I got that out of it too. The “look what you made me do” seems pretty self aware to me.
Great, now I’m visualizing her drunkenly beating Styles and/or Hiddleston
There was decent nu metal out there, but Bizkit’s rap-rock take on it was uninspired and nauseating.
She has always been a very competent businesswoman. She’s said herself she’d probably be in finance if not for music. She’s also never apologized for wanting to maintain a revenue stream. This is business hardball, but it’s all pretty aboveboard. I don’t see the need for rage here.
Like, dude, he’s French. Duh.
Pretty common outside California and the East Coast. I’ve got a studio in a fairly dense part of Minneapolis for $780 a month, and that seems to strike people here as on the high side for a studio in Longfellow (the neighborhood).
I agree with you on this. The best thing my elementary school ever did for me was insist on “multicultural and gender fair” groupings for group projects. I feel like for us dudes, getting to know women as people and not this mysterious object of affection early on, before puberty fucks everything up, that’s important.…
You know, maybe that’s what the snake’s about, some Don’t Tread On Me shit.

Hey, as long as we band together when needed, I don’t see the harm in a bit of internecine sparring. Keeps everybody sharp, you know?
Those haven’t been working out all that well either; note Syria, for instance. Revolution’s never as clean and simple as its proponents want to believe.
Nah, the thing we shouldn’t have done was remove the Union army and let them vote again. We could have taken the forces that squashed Native groups in the West and instead set them on top of these assholes and make sure the Confederate dream was good and dead.
I feel like maybe you need to take a break; that’s like neural Jezebel soup up in there.
This is one of the ones that’s gotten better with time.
Now that’s a more interesting question! I’m not sure what I think of that, to tell the truth. It’s at least less troubling to me intuitively.
I agree that punishment-driven justice is ineffective beyond a limited deterrent effect, but I don’t necessarily see this as purely punishment. I think from a rehabilitative…
