Oh, I think it will be harder than it was for my dad, but it’s not the feminists doing it. I mean, it’s not Judy Butler and Gloria Steinem that shipped all our manufacturing jobs overseas, you know?

Miss Piggy’s creators were definitely not.
This Mike dude doesn’t even appreciate the Love Bug movies?
I’m 27 and I’m trying to remember who Burt Reynolds is. I think I’m thinking of Burt Lancaster. In any case, I think your definition of common knowledge might be excessively expansive here.
R. Kelly is a good modern example. No idea how that dude still has a career.

Augh! That hurts just thinking about it and I don’t even have those parts
Powderhorn here, word up! And I’ve definitely heard “babygay”, or “babbygay” for the more meme-fluent. At least here I don’t think it’s considered a disrespect.
That’s a bit dependent on social class, though. The lower echelons don’t see much of that except for data entry.
Yeah, I think it’s good that she’s doing this to get them in the field in the first place, but there’s so much hostility to women in tech that it’s going to be hard to keep them there. I don’t think that culture is going to be changed except by the men in it, though, so she’s kind of doing what she can here.
Cool, a picture for ants

Stop feeding the troll guys god damn
I don’t know, like, I didn’t know Tyson did this. I just knew he was the guy that bit a dude’s ear off or whatever. I’m probably not the only male vocal feminist who was unaware. Maybe Crews doesn’t know either?
I mean, you’re not wrong, but I have a difficult time caring about this. I’m kind of amused at how heated you are here. Where do you think they went, then, anyways? I mean, they’re not like, biodegradable or something. Someone or something took them somewhere.
Probably for the best
It’s an a hour away by transit. Presumably the workers are driving, in which case it’s much, much less than that. In any case the carts disappeared eventually, so somebody must have came and got them. And sometimes they could be repurposed for other things if you needed them. 2 or 3 stockpiled grocery carts can make a…
At the time, honestly, no, I didn’t.
#3 is an excellent idea for a revenue passenger. Keep a lil bag with critical medications and the like under the seat in front of you, and try to get them to gate check your main bag.
The FAs, at least at my airline, are told not to lift passengers’ bags for them due to the risk of an on the job injury which the company would be responsible for paying for. You’ll have better luck asking other passengers.
Yeah, I’m for real. I’m not pushing that shit back for another 2+ hours round trip. And they send people out to get them eventually.
And not every time; really only once a month when Safeway had the big sale. Mostly I’d stock up then and do a couple little purchases in between I could fit in a backpack.
