I’m not quite that hardline about how many seasons I’m willing to sit through, but I definitely have my limits. Shonen in particular, My Hero Academia aside, I just don’t even touch anymore. I’ve had people insist on One Piece to me several times over the years and I’ve had to tell them I don’t care how good they say

E3 seems like the embodiment of “this meeting could have been an email”

Oh, that merits an Edna Krabappel “Ha!”. Bravo.

I would love to see From stans bitch about this game being too easy and get hit with their favorite "that's how the devs intended it" response.

Maybe it’s been a while since you played them (it has been 30 years so I’m not judging), but the early Kirby games were not remotely hard at all, either. Especially compared to to other games of the era. KDL1 had Extra Mode and a 1-hit-kill option but those were just optional post-game challenges. KDL2&3 had a few of t

It’s why rightwing fucktards love to project everything onto the left, because those twisted religious bastards are always the ones fondling and trafficking children. It’s beyond disgusting and yet they keep getting away with it.

I’ll let them know to pack it up and move on.

I just want to say, since it doesn't look like you're getting much support: you're right, and I completely agree with you. Thanks for trying.

Their choice, but in my opinion, it only succeeds in gatekeeping people from the game. Yes, not everyone will like every title, but on the other hand, these are also products designed to sell to as many people as possible. Plus, the way the SoulsBorne communities raves about the games, you’d think they wouldn’t be

The “artistic expression/singular vision” and “games are hard to make” angles are so childishly naïve. This is embarrassing. We (hopefully?) aren’t 10 years old anymore, we know how the sausage is made. Difficulty is an accessibility and a design issue, not an artistic choice.

Give me 1,000 different people who play

I am one of those people. I do not feel like these games would be any lesser for having a difficulty slider. One player’s easy is another player’s hard.

They fail to capture what really made the original creepy. It sits in an uneasy uncanny valley. It has infant qualities but is just off enough to be unsettling without outright trying to be grotesque

I mean, this makes sense because for a while now the muckity-mucks in the back of the site have been trying to come up with ways to make money off of the contents, and having an entry where the artist specifically states that their work cannot be used so goes against that.

Speak for yourself! I live for weird and disturbing Mario lore.

Exactly. A great example of this is the two versions of Rainbow Road they included in MK7. I loved playing both and enjoying the different art styles and game play. It's cool to have variety, and even a few "simpler" tracks. Like people were complaining that these tour maps might not have anti gravity sections, but I

He’s transphobic and full on NIMBY?

Grogu is still emblematic of what’s wrong with modern Star Wars, it’s all rooted in nostalgia.

Can we stop with the whole bullshit damned if we do, damned if we do not approach I’m seeing in the comments? The reality is, there isn’t just, “We don’t do this” or “We explore other cultures while only creating space for people who exist in those cultures in the background.”
