For the most part I agree, but the mission where you help them set up a surveillance state specifically so you can piggyback on their privacy-invading network was pretty gross.

It’s a damn shame that a job people used to consider a noble pursuit has to be drug into the gutter by the actions of a few who should never have been police in the first place.
You mentioned you hadn’t played the game, so I’ll mention that this isn’t just a matter of Spidey having a good relationship with cops. In that game he essentially deputizes himself rather than act as a vigilante, and helps the police set up a morally ambiguous surveillance system without a second thought. It also…
Spider-Man is interesting to me because it lines up with how the police are depicted in all of the Spider-Man movies. For that matter - how they’re depicted in all superhero movies except for maybe Batman Begins. They’re always an idyllic force for good that just needs a boost of help from a vigilante in a colorful…
Yeah, but at the same time Spider-Man’s appeal as a character is presenting a more realistically apathetic/hostile environment and persevering despite how rough life gets. Superman having cops like this would be one thing, but Spidey having cops like this flies in the face of the not-so-idealistic worldview presented…
Saying “thats the point, its a super hero game” is not conducive to thoughtful analysis and dicussion, and serves only to scatter bomb the conversation rather than to engange in anything meaningful. All media and art is worthy of frank and in depth discussion.

My point, which I think I’ve made clearly enough that there’s nothing else for me to say after this, is that I think Horizon deserved more attention in general than what it got, in large part thanks to a cultural phenomenon in the same genre debuting around the same time.
Considering all the hype around BotW left little room for Horizon to make a big splash as a new IP in terms of the hype machine, I’m not sure how can you argue it wasn’t rotten luck.
(This is actually an Oregon Trail sequel.)
So their choice is to propose a bill that Moscow Mitch will ignore, or take no action? Better to “waste” time doing what the House of Representatives is supposed to do (proposing legislation) than do nothing at all.
The wild area was by far and away the best part of this game though.
I feel more like this was season 3's finale done right. All the emotional beats were actually witnessed by the viewer this time around instead of being done offscreen like in season 3. In the end Rick is isolated from the family again, but this time it feels significant and earned, instead of arbitrary like it did…
First, a bit of a typo: It’s Tammie not Tonya

Jeez.
OP is making a joke about the Olive Garden jokes that were shoved into the Sonic movie, as well as a few other weird bits of product placement. It was weirdly placed in the movie.
Is the Space Pope reptilian?
