Game of Thrones was always a franchise that felt like it could revel in its outdated and offensive stereotypes so long as it cheekily acknowledged how outdated and offensive they were.

Looks like the marketing department is going in a slightly less pretentious direction for this one. 

They weren’t, but it does fit into the narrative of Pokemon fans convincing themselves that previous games in the series were better than subsequent games. 

Just a reminder that they didn’t get to be, and continue to be, the biggest media franchise in the world by having amazing graphics.

This game is going to be so much better than the next one is going to be apparently.
