It almost doesn’t matter if it’s a good truck. They could put a bed on a Model 3 and raise it a bit and it’ll sell. I feel like the popularity of trucks in the US is like 95% cultural and 5% people actually needing it to do truck things.

I would bet money that Tesla will eventually introduce a more traditionally built electric truck for the masses and either discontinue the Cybertruck or keep it at very low production numbers so that it can stay an exotic style statement.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson seems like a fine choice. As for Elba, I’ve always felt the main issue holding him back was his age. They move quickly because they EXPECT to fail and quickly learn from that failure and try again. And again. Until they make it work. That is the SpaceX secret sauce, full stop.

They are taking baby steps, and failing at every corner. Imagine the gigantic steps necessary to get to the moon in only two years. This albatross won’t get them there in 20 years at this pace.
