You definitely see 9000s from time to time, but consider the fact that they were made for 14 years. For something with that long of a production run, you think they'd maybe be around a bit more often.

My kingdom for just one more 9k Aero... I wanted to get one this time around, ended up with a '98 Volvo V70 XC instead. Though, the P80 Volvos remind me of the 9000 in a sort of distant relative sort of way - makes me wonder how many people who worked at Saab in the 80s moved to Volvo in the 90s.

I have a feeling that a lot of Volvo 240s won't be visiting garages for wheel balancing.

Former NH State Route 51 (now 101 Expressway) between Hampton and Brentwood used to have HUGE signs on the side of the road when you got on the highway from I-95 indicating how many people had been killed on that stretch of roadway back in the mid-late 1980s.

I hope one of the Volvo outfits in Boston makes it a point to be there... key demographic.

Listening to Car Talk on Saturday mornings has been an integral and formative part of my life. I spent the worst years of my 20s listening to the Magliozzi brothers every Saturday morning, religiously, while I occupied myself in the garage with my hands under the hood of various and sundry Swedish cars - it was my

Super comfortable seats in the S and Turbo models. Base models left a bit to be desired, but still much better than the shit they're putting in most cars today.

What lesson did I learn? Don't.
