This Carl won't drive a Karl.

The S30 chassis gave birth to the absolutely brilliant Datusn 240Z, a car that compared favorably with the best of what Europe had to offer. Unfortunately it evolved into the slow, bloated 280ZX, a car that no amount of black gold could save.

10/10, would hoon.

"Avenge my death!"

Can't star this enough.

This brings me back. I was a course marshal in this event! My old EG Civic sheared its passenger side upper ball joint right off during a transit, and John Buffum had to give me a ride up to Oquossoc the next day so I could limp it back to town for repair. That's my buddy's Saab 99 near the end of the video.

Can't believe I'm the first one to recommend the Saab 900 Enduro from Australia.

Saab 900 - with or without Toppola camper attached.

Now playing

Michael McDonald does enough backup vocals on this album to fill that void. Go to 18:00.

I actually had an M03 9-3 Arc for exactly 3 months in 2008. I bought it in March with hopes of making a better aux/iPod solution for that platform, and upon dissecting most of the car's MOST bus realized it couldn't be done without re-engineering the entire system. Inside the car's EHU box, there was a magnificent DSP

It wasn't without its faults, and the supply chain issues I ran up against were maddening. However, the experience galvanized me as an entrepreneur and today I work with other early stage companies as an advisor and mentor as a sideshow to my role at a fledgling Internet infrastructure firm.

Nobody gets 'em. Nobody understands the appeal, until they drive one. Then they are immediately part of the fold and talk about their 9-5 and compare it to the 850 Monte Carlo because they're distant cousins. They also only take their car to [insert the only Saab shop in the region, with a couple acres worth of shells

Hope 2013 Minis are worth something meaningful next year... I don't want to take a bath on this.

Lest we forget the Cog Railway here in New Hampshire!

Still not on the MQB chassis, though... weird. Center stack is different than my wife's 2013 2.5SE. Hope the manual gearbox is still available.

Two days too late... I'll be in the city on Tuesday/Wednesday on business.
