No, this is not right. JD is confusing tax bill and tax burden.

This is not correct. A tax credit reduces your overall tax burden. If you paid $7500 in taxes over a year, and owe nothing, yet get a $7500 EV tax credit, you will get a tax refund for $7500. So as long as you make enough money to pay taxes equal to or higher than the EV Credit, you'll get the full benefit.
I see latigo canyon on there. One of LAs best kept secrets, I fu*king LOVE that road. Hope you enjoyed the ride :).
This is definitely happening in the enterprise market. I work in the data storage world and our “as a service” true OpEx model is our fastest growing revenue stream. The flexibility and predictable costs are benefits for sure, however you do pay a price for that over time. I don't feel great about that creeping into…
So, serious question, if you have a solid job & great credit, is this now an amazing buying opportunity?
Everyone needs to take a trip to Japan and experience their train system. We would have the whole country on board for spending the billions needed in no time. It's just incredible being able to get anywhere quickly and on time via a good train system, nothing beats it... Makes me want to move to Seattle, they are…
I replaced the clutch/slave cylinder in my C5Z over a two day weekend with a floor jack and harbor freight transmission jack by myself. It's really not that hard, you just need to put some elbow grease into it.
Unfortunately the real answer is to invest in a mix of subway, light, and heavy rail to the point where you can get not just around a city but also between towns and cities without much effort. To go longer distance, train to the airport -> fly -> train from airport to wherever you are going. Combine that with a…
Reading this while on my first trip to Japan (I also grew up in Philly). My God it makes me sad.
Wow, it looks amazing. Thanks for sharing the details! Maybe one day I’ll do it, I'll PM you if I get serious.
Um, please tell me more. I have a 16'
Does it deal with white carpets better than my 600 series? I have tons of issues with it thinking the carpet is an edge of the floor and as such won't go on it.

Great post with good advice! I was dead set on leasing a volt for awhile, and then found a 2016 GTI with 5k miles on the clock (!) for $12k less then the equivalent 2018 model... Can’t pass that up. Combine it with an unsecured loan from lightstream for 3.69% apr over 60mo and total ownership is way better than buying…
I want a Bolt badly, but I’m going to get a Volt. One thing GM really F’ed up on - no adaptive cruise in the Bolt. I don’t know why the heck it’s the case, but I’m not buying a DD without it anymore.
And then you go to restore and it takes days, tapes are corrupted or won’t load properly, or they are old and use a different lto standard so you gotta bust out the old ass tape library. You really pay a price for saving a little cash.
I have a 98' SR5 with the V6 and 5 speed manual. LOVE it, beat the snot out of it and it just keeps going. Love that it’s skinny too, handles tight trails with ease on all seasons. Putting down all the windows and the moon roof is as good as it gets without going Wrangler.
You’re kidding, right? Toyota infotainment systems are such shitholes, I’d refuse to buy one of their cars based on that alone.
Two things.
I hear a lot of traction control in that video...
Do you guys forsee any deals on the Switch? I bought Mario for the Amazon preorder discount, but was hoping to score the console for less than $299 lol.
