I think someone put it best that the Cybertruck is a loyalty test. Something to determine how MUCH you like the Kool-aid. It’s bad at being a truck, reports that it’s dangerous to drive, i.e. suspension, brakes, etc. were nearly impossible to manage because they started with something that wasn’t meant to be a truck.

The tightest tolerances in the world won’t fix what’s wrong with the fundamentals of the cybertruck.

The world is not a static environment. A truth any self-driving system has to be able to adapt to, including just going “I don’t know what’s going on here, you drive”.

What’s the big deal? Tires are JUST the ONLY part of your car that touches the ground.  What’s the harm in not making sure they are the ONE thing on a car next to brakes you don’t want to skimp on maintaining?

I’ve got an Hummer EV on the way, planning on running it as much as I can on solar. My ideal endgame is a completely self sufficient home and vehicles. I have some acreage adjacent to the house that’s wasted space.  Getting a quote for a small solar farm soon.  I’m an edge case but not everyone buying a Hummer EV

Have you used Ubisoft+? This is like forcing Tesla to sell their driver-assistance tech to Peugeot and letting them manage it.

As someone that just verified their reservation for a delivery later this year, I think a lot of people are mistaking what the Hummer EV is. It’s a tech showcase for GM, a rolling exhibition of everything that will trickle down to the rest of their vehicles. The modular Ultium propulsion system, 4 wheel steering, fast

They denied it on cloud gaming grounds because they just didn’t like the idea of the merger and needed a scapegoat so someone who heard the term “cloud gaming” once went “eureka!” and when it was explained to them how dumb that sounds they doubled down instead of admitting there were probably better reasons to block

...how is having Ubisoft manage Activision’s catalog for cloud services a pro-consumer move?

Anyone with rustled jimmies over his content just keep in mind he won’t be the only “look at me waste money and do dumb shit” influencer to come out the other end well off and happy. He’ll be like all the others, wishing they had managed their money better and thought more than a month or two ahead.  FPSRussia and so

Obligatory:

It’s because he looks OPRESSIVELY pissed and miserable when his face is resting and he knows it.

XM’s iphone app works in Carplay as well. If your family has more than one car that also means only having to pay for the streaming plan and not for each individual car radio.

Then more akin to pump-and-dump stock fraud schemes.  In either case, ill shit afoot.

These transactions always feel like money laundering.  Just like that sealed SMB that went for $2mil.

It’s the perfect candidate for a class action suit. Since the beginning, it’s been an interest free loan to Tesla that you forgive them for when you trade or sell the car. How many people spent between $5-15k on an option that didn’t exist as advertised, doesn’t exist as advertised, and may never exist as advertised

And with 120+kWh packs, if someone is going from 20-80%, they might be there for over an hour. If I visit a relative 400 miles away, all interstate, there’s 2 DC charging stations for the whole 400 mile stretch. 4 stalls each for a total of 8 DC fast chargers on that trip...and now that these manufacturers are

I seem to remember someone correlating excess deaths with states where Trump lost by margins of a couple thousand and found that it was likely he would have won the Presidency without the vaccine skepticism he and his fellow GOP spread.

It’s a balance, because if you do that and curb demand, you end up having to reduce the price back to where it should be and people feel ripped off.  Look at what happened when Tesla cut prices earlier this year and Ford cut prices on the Lightning.

Everybody’s trying different things, voiding second hand warranties. Banning from buying limited production models in the future. Etc...but the only REAL solution is just make more, increase the supply side. Look at the Hummer EV, they were selling for $170-250k because GM just wasn’t making them fast enough (which I
