If you've never watched Season 8, Episode 17 of M*A*S*H, an episode entitled "Heal Thyself", Edward Herrmann guest stars as visiting Dr Steve Newsom. In my opinion, it is one of the finest performances of any actor on television. Period. Such a truly fine actor.
