Since when do you have to choose between pickles on a burger and a pickle on the side? I want both. The pickle slices on the burger are good and tangy but they’re also thin, get warmed up in the burger, and usually end up mildly crunchy at best. The side pickle is a pallet cleanser and temperature change-up.
Barring particular personal medical conditions, having your chili full of salt and fat isn’t bad for you, and in fact is probably good! Can we throw the lo-fat craze in the goddamn trash already?
