How sure are we that getting your shot blocked doesn’t count as a FGA? I’m pretty sure it does, because it doesn’t count as a turnover.

Everyone realizes that this is Old Spice’s fault, right?

24 of the 45 points they gave up came on a combined ~70 yards of offense (defensive return, INT inside the 20, kick return to midfield, onsides kick).

Actually, Tom, he’s as perplexed as YOU are, whereas I am completely on top of things.

He didn’t want to be roasted because he thinks meat is better boiled.

He’s been getting plenty of reps in at Chuck E. Cheese.

He’s more or less admitting that his decision in Halberstam is based on the “Honor by Association” fallacy (good prose must be true). He then proceeds to go line-by-line down the Wikipedia list of fallacies at a rapid fire pace.

Not the first time Taco Bell has been associated with chemtrails.

“I’m departing on a quest to find the deepest, purest, most honest truth: I’m watching every TED talk”

“QB of the Patriots” apparently isn’t the only Boston sports role that needs a Tom Brady successor.

(ahem) DeadspInterview.

But at the same time, being challenging isn’t the point. Things aren’t important or good just because they’re difficult to watch. It’s not hard to point out that things are ambiguous. What does it say about the ambiguity?

Let’s compromise: Deadspin can keep writing LaVar Ball stories, but Tom Ley has to write them all, and that’s all he’s allowed to publish.

This is the comment you were born to post.

Drew, are you including acoustic covers, or only same band? Because if you are, you’ll have to answer for Johnny Cash’s version of “Hurt”.

Nah, it’s backfired too many times to give it even a remote chance. Nothing is worth the risk of him somehow winning some games.
