“see, after leaving it in the engine for 10,000 miles it still hasn’t turned black!”
“see, after leaving it in the engine for 10,000 miles it still hasn’t turned black!”
you still should wait for the car to get up to operating temperature until you start driving hard, since the different metals and alloys in the engine warp and stretch at different rates.
but really, is a panther body anything more than a bigger, loungier fairlane?
1st Gear: You think that’s bad? wait until you hear about the EV tax that’s been imposed on new electric cars in Vic, Australia.
All because “boo hoo, we won’t get the tax money from petrol sales any more”
Damn, now I can’t wait for the Ram SRT Homophobe be released.
yeah, why did people only love the lincoln futura when it was repainted black and had a fibreglass dick stuck on the hood?
yes, but a model 3 is not 15 billion times better than a leaf, XC40 ev, or vw id3.
sure, it beats them on drivetrain performance, but only by a small amount, and as far as “being a car” goes, the quality and finish is important, and tesla is lacking in that department, which leaves it overall equal to the rest of the…
the maverick was also a rebadged nissan patrol and nissan terrano in various other markets, so it’s not that much of a stretch.
so when’s Jason making an article about how they should bring back the original USDM bumpers?
the ranger is big because it wasn’t made to sit under the F150 in the lineup, it was meant to be a “fullsize” truck for the rest of the world.
that being said, I do think someone needs to get on the ~100hp, 2 tonne kerb weight BOF truck market.
maybe mahindra?
while we’re at it, what about a chevy “green”brier and an electric mk1-style econoline?
Zimmer is still in business, I don’t get why they don’t take an Escalade, lengthen the front of it, and make an enormous neo-classic town car.
i’m still pissed that holden leaving GM with opel/vauxhall fell through.
nah, make it a special run of the urus.
put the sian/countach hybrid V12 up the front, lengthen the rear and give it a big old tub, and call up lamborghini trattori to design the suspension.
and not just a mercedes E class with the slopey rear window moved to the back, proper long, enormous, square “i’m your daaad” wagons of yesteryear, like an olds custom cruiser or BF falcon wagon.
the problem there is that the majority of the engineering was done by opel, I’d doubt that GM USA could do it again themselves now that opel’s ditched them.
I can’t wait for dodge to put the same old journey back into production just with the rear roof chopped off it.
even if they’d just called the Mach-E a thunderbird.
I’m all for this. bring back the whole 1986 B-body range, exactly as it was, just with the LF9 diesel V8 replaced with a scaled up bolt drivetrain.
