Pffft. Give me a 86 Grand National for 15k and it will smoke the Aero coupe all day.

I call bullshit and we'll never get it here in the U.S.

Dear VW/VAG,

There is no right answer. The Golf R is too expensive and the way VAG wants to make money like every manufacturer should, a Polo R would probably price in around a GTI and the steal sales there. Oh well...

I hate the way they think.

And there is no way VAG will send it to play over here in the U.S. with all the other cool kids because they're assholes. If I live another 25 years maybe I'll gray market one for my retirement gift.

After Porsche, what is the second car you'd own several versions of?

It is the Vegans revenge for being picked on in the latest commercial. Bastards!!

Someone just gave up their test driving privileges. Poor dude.

Doesn't stand for Break My Wallet for nothing!

Nissan hands down. Every stinking car looks the same. MaxiAltimSentrVersa

So does # 1 come from my suggestion of the Century T-type? Probably not.

Buick Century T-Type...trying to cash in on the GN/T-type Regal's success...shame it had the goat of a naturally aspirated 3.8 V-6 and it was the death knell for the body type and RWD .

Typical southern overreaction to 1" of snow? Poor bastard, he's mildly famous for a week.

I suggest they drop half baked crap like this and give me a real Bus. Or make a real 4x4/awd set up and make it look like it go do Baja 500! This thing will only off-road when someone misses the driveway a bit and leaves a tire track on the lawn. Pfft...

GLI is fun car. Bus would be fun...like VW doesn't want to have fun unless it is a Beetle.

The son of gun sells like hotcakes for sure...I was talking more along the lines of the reception of the car by the fans and the VW enthusiasts, you know...vocal jerks like me who want a Bus/Transporter/Vanagon replacement that isn't the Eurovan (which I had btw and did like to a point).

Being the icon that is Jaguar style do you feel burdened to keep a few elements of "classic" Jaguar shape in the current design?

Well at least it doesn't look like every other Nissan...for now.

I said this to myself last night after reading about the SUV. Any VW fan is going to think this...except of course the VW fans who work for the company. Seems as though VW has gone back to thinking the customer doesn't know what they want, but VW management does. How's that cheap-o Jetta working out for ya guys?
