I think a lot of parents would disagree on it being “bad parenting” It sounds like a fantastic response to me. You pretty much send the message loud and clear, that This is Not OK. That is a thing parent’s need to do.

Shame is a pretty valid tool when you want to change someone’s behavior tho, especially a kid’s. Don’t know why people are afraid of using it, this need to protect people’s feelings when they’ve done something wrong is odd. It’s not like they walked in and had it out in the lunchroom.
I think she’s sad because of what that will mean when other kid’s find out about it. That is not going to end well.
I get the feeling, you want your kid to do the right thing, but nobody likes a rat. It’ll likely cause him an immense amount of social shame at school, and is honestly a little weak.
I feel like that’s why he was a little sad that the kid rolled so easily, vs just taking punishment for their individual decisions.
It’s not hypocrisy, sometimes you want to see a little backbone. Take your own punishment, but don’t throw everyone you know under the bus to save your skin. That’s a little weak. And probably likely to have negative social implications. I got caught drinking underage as a teen, I didn’t name anyone else at the party,…
I really doubt those 2 things have anything to do with one another. I would be extremely suspicious of anyone trying to show causation.
Columbo : Oh just one thing, what was on the another pizza you guys ordered?
Disgust over what? The school isn’t simply Larry Nassar. Shouldn’t burn down the entire athletics department, there’s a lot of people and kids that would be adversely affected by that.
It’s a whole lot easier to just tell someone what you think they did wrong, than all this vague referencing.
Yea but he was more of a joke previously, like every over the top new money/wall street stereotype in living flesh. Loads of people more worthy if disdain. He has weaseled his way up that list pretty impressively tho.
He was literally the go to example of the kind of rich guy who would install gold toilet seats in his home. Like he was the used car salesman of millionaires, for my entire life. People used to joke about the idea of him running for President because of it was so absurd a concept as to be immediately and universally…
Probably for luck. In this case, specifically to show that he wasn’t a punk, so pride.
He yanks the chain about halfway into getting shoved off the field, so to say he started it is disingenuous. He escalated it, to be sure, but it was already on.
I mean, that’s more than enough to taint an entire career, regarding Green. There’s no nut kicking pass.
Both of them are as specific or as arbitrary as you want them to be. You could pick something out of the sky that seems attainable, or figure out exactly what type of income adjusted for inflation you want to have for the lifestyle you want to live.
Charitable works is not a requirement for churches and religions tho. Charities are themselves distinct tax exempt organizations. You can be a church and a charity, church but not a charity, charity but not a church.
Oh she’s very clearly intentionally slapping the guy, she’s just that fucking drunk. That’s some rough fucking payment tho.
She was being detained, she definitely should have been in cuffs. This is exactly WHY they put almost everyone in some kind of restraint. Hell they put people who are sober and compliant in those zip ties.
It is, unfortunately, the society we have been stuck with for some decades now. Te ones complaining loudest about it are just getting told to shut up.
