HOTR 4LYFE!!!!
Those are very helpful tips. Thank you!
Bahaha I love it. That was my primary fear - that a car was a killing machine I should not be trusted with due to my innate dumbness/ indecisiveness/ poor reaction time.
Pretty far from a major city. Do you know how to find these people?
He came back around 3:30. Said he was just driving around to clear his head. We talked about how scared he is to look for a job because he's afraid of not finding one, and he thinks his family will keep nagging him all the time no matter how hard he works. I didn't really say anything because I was SO tired,…
Aaaand he left at 2:30am without saying anything. When I texted him to ask where he was, he asked why it mattered. If he wants me to pack up tonight he's doing great.
That's. Amazing.
I absolutely wish he could see a doctor and therapist, but we have $0 and he doesn't have health benefits. Obamacare is useless for him because as poor as we are Medicaid is the only available option, but our R governor decided not to expand Medicaid so there's not enough to go around. I think this is what frustrates…
Sorry, guys, I just need to rant to somebody, anybody, about my LTR. I have been with my dude for close to 7 years. He is wonderful - everything I could want emotionally, intellectually, etc. But here is his flaw: he is lazy. I've made excuses for him in the past (I do think depression is part of it) but it's just…
As someone who once had a legit phobia of driving, I can confirm that yes, everyone has. People treated me like I was an idiot. Actual words from my father, "It's not a life or death situation!" Um YES IT LITERALLY IS. He is a terrible driver and half the reason for my anxiety in the first place, but far from the only…
That's the coolest thing I've ever heard. Someone should make a movie about her. She could be in the present somehow teaching some regular person about how to be awesome while she recounts her life. Like Philomena, except happy and with 100x the badass.
Same here. And I always bleed after so that makes it extra fun.
WHOA. Whoa. Just... whoa.
Yeah, his whole class was full of idiotic, outdated gender role stuff. He showed a news story about a couple who hid the gender of their baby from relatives for like the 1st year or 2, and his conclusion was that "some parents should just have their children taken away! Amirite?" And he repeatedly asserted that the…
I had a professor who explicitly told the class that women who want children should not get PhDs. His whole argument centered around this assumption; that pregnant women and women with young children cannot/ should not be doing anything not baby-related. I wish I had reported him.
Ehh there are at least two and they are just taking the top posts on multiple articles.
What is with all the trolling today? Is Easter really that sad for the bitter losers?
I think the imbalance of housework duties/ "second shift" has a lot to do with it too. Women with children typically can't afford to say home (even if they wanted to) but still end up doing the majority of the child care and housework. It's hard to have a sex drive when you are EXHAUSTED ALL THE TIME.
If I was Nick Carter, no way I could have stopped myself from tweeting a snarky comeback about all that shit. Kudos to him for being civil.
Nope I agree, you are just sane. With fresh water in such limited supply dumping all of that water is just a disgusting waste.
