The first video felt like the start of a civil war movie, but the second one feels like the start of an actual civil war. Their exact response to the criticism of implied calls for violence and “us vs. them” mentality is “FUCK YEAH WE ARE DOING THOSE THINGS, cause y’all started it and you’re violent, scary snowflakes

YES. I work with adults with IDD, and I was so appalled when I saw the video. I have learned to be very careful about not asking leading questions if the truth is at all important, because nearly all of my people have learned to hide their disability and avoid ridicule by giving what they perceive to be the “right”

It’s amazing. You would think it’s a skill that builds, but it seems like every bad liar I’ve met was used to lying that they didn’t have that anxiety most people get where they are very careful about covering it up.

My impression of KP and TS, based on mostly Dirt Bag for the last few years (so basically I’m making things up):

Ahhg I didn’t notice that until you pointed it out! That bothers me even more than the 6th grade graduation yearbook message. And then look at Obama’s elegant cursive. Sigh.

You know what’s funny? Social workers are vital to the fabric of society by helping the people in the very most need, including children, and we frequently work overtime for free. And do you know what we make with our fancy college degrees and 50-60 hour work weeks? Not enough to pay off those student loans!

2) theory: trump stops to read reactions/ his mentions to the prior tweet before moving on. I am pretty sure most of the automated bots that have replies instantly are pro-Trump and he probably does not understand they are bots.

“The prospect that contraception would always prevent the conception of a child is preposterous.”

The lady with the glasses who “Jims” to the camera! This guy is a real life Dwight Schrute.

Something that will ALWAYS stick with me during the post-election coverage was NPR interviewing Trump voters, and they would say things like (I’m paraphrasing), “When he talks he says crazy things but you know he doesn’t believe it’s literally true. He just says what he thinks, like we all do when we’re sitting around

“I can’t even with a couple of my in-laws who actually voted for him because ‘he’s done so much for golf.’”

I feel like American Crime’s portrayal was the most likely- Rob was a friend of OJ’s and so at first he couldn’t/ wouldn’t believe he was guilty, then by the time he accepted it he was in too deep with the defense.

Uncomfortable truth: squeezing from the bottom every time saves you zero toothpaste.

I get the impression his supporters think he does always say what he means, it’s just that he’s so ineloquent that no one knows what it is that he 100% means, and even he himself cannot explain it. And the reason that’s ok, you see, is because all real ‘Mericans also struggle with literacy and say whatever dumb shit

Yeah, as a mental health worker, that really blew me away. Of course it’s also concerning that he “doesn’t believe in” psychotropic medications, which include a wide range of medications like ANTIDEPRESSANTS. =\

Waiting for his supporters to say it’s fake news and/or photoshopped

I’m struggling with this where I work. I got a promotion 6 months ago in a social work position, and the norm for everyone at this level is to work roughly 10 extra hours a week for free. I thought I was going to come up and be like NOPE. BOUNDARIES. especially because I was in grad school full time and that was

I can’t say I’d want Pumpkin Spice Hitler *assassinated* at his inauguration, but if someone managed to run up and kicked him in the balls during his speech, I swear it would make up for all of 2016.

And if a woman tells him she is having an odd pain, it’s because she’s “getting older” or “it will go away on its own.” (My last doctor told me the last line when I suddenly had serious stomach pain every time I ate and it lasted for weeks but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).

Did you see when Trump tweeted this?
