You weren’t wrong, you just weren’t right yet. It takes a while to really snap into focus and go from sort of amusing to really funny.

To me, the best thing about Alien’s script (which is a very, very good script) is that it makes the Neidermeyer-esque rules stickler the fucking hero of the film and the only survivor.
I remember the first time I heard that FX were doing a Fargo series and I went into it without expecting much. It’s now probably one of my favourite tv shows and I think that Season 2 is probably one of the finest seasons of television ever produced.
Lizzo is called beautiful, gorgeous, and apparently can outrun, outdance & outsex everyone else. (cringe) Look, she’s a great singer/artist/performer and I will never make fun of her just cause she’s overweight. But, in the same instance, I’m not going to priase her for it either. Jillian is right. It’s NOT something…
I definitely agree about that assessment when it comes to Deadpool. I also feel that way about ‘Community’, which is an often lonely place to be.
You’re trying to talk reason and nuance to a bunch of zealots and the rigid binaries that always come along with zealotry. The alphabet consists of A and B: you’re either celebrating or demonizing; there is no middle ground.
I get people feel like Michaels was attacking Lizzo, but I don’t think she said anything out of line. The fact is, Lizzo isn’t just a normal person battling her weight. She is part of a group, intentionally or not, who glorify obesity instead of calling it what it is: a dangerous and unhealthy weight that leads to…
This is just Cats with updated CG. Every week they change it. Next week it’s going to be Bad Boys III.
Glenn Howerton was the skeezy personal trainer in the first season.
Dennis was the overly tan fitness instructor in season one
I’m mostly worried about the bad message it sends what she adopted a hyena, and that it’s going to send scores of people to the hospital..
The “I radicalized my own grandfather” time paradox was the only real groanworthy note in the series to me. In comparison to everything else it was just such a lazy cheapening of Manhattan’s existential omni-temporality.
On the other hand, my view is the opposite of yours and I’m quite vocal about it, virulently so because it matter so little!
Personally I was disappointed that everything was exactly as it seemed: Yup, Judd and his wife were just evil Klan members.
This place is better than most, though.
Everyone was raving about the finale or nitpicking other details to the point where I don’t think Lindelof really got enough shit for the ultimate resolution of the Judd Crawford storyline, but it honestly annoys me more and more the more I think about it.
Can't speak for D.I., but I was expecting (SPOILERS!) more from the final pages than everyone not talking about all of the crazy shit that had gone down.
I wasn’t sure initially but by the end of the trailer I was won over. I just hope they make the ending a little more substantial and satisfying as I was disappointed by it in the comics, though that might partially be because of the really long wait for those final few issues.
Spoiler Alert:
And it’s tiring.
