I’m just glad its finally over.
I’m just glad its finally over.
That’s a low bar.
The first season was clearly derived from a literary source and adapted to the small screen. It oozed with effortlessness and nuance from every frame. The second season immediately feels like a weird hybrid between the big screen (J-Horror) and the small screen (conveyor belt miniseries). Only the setting and themes…
Katy Perry!! I knew it was her. Even when it was Taylor Swift, I knew it was her.
Dude, get out of my head— that’s almost exactly my take on PJLOTR. I dug the hell out of Fellowship and saw it three times in the theater, despite a handful of irritating parts (the strobe-lighting Galadriel, etc). Two Towers seemed like a huge misstep, but I was willing to give ROTK a shot, but it lost me early and I…
My problem was that Denethor in the movie had absolutely no relationship with his book character. I mean, this is guy who was so mentally strong that he was able to telepathically battle Sauron for decades and not lose.
Blew my damn mind. Been waiting for one of these sites to post about it.
Did you just Kanye this review? :D
I haven’t seen the movie, but my favorite memory of American Beauty was when my grandparents decided to rent it after hearing so much talk about how captivating and poetic it was. “We cut it off after about 15 minutes. I didn’t see any of that! It was just filthy!”
(This is why you’re mad? Because your wife doesn’t want you to spill beer on a couch?)
Last I heard, he was devoting himself more to the writing and recitation of poetry. And for the ladies out there, I hear he’s single!
When I was in high school in the 90s, this girl in my class worked in the local video store. She told me she couldn’t count the number of times she found that some dude splooged on the cover of the porn rentals in the adult film section.
I for one am delighted that Family Video still exists, even if it baffles me too. Every time I drive through a small town and see one, it makes me smile.
That movie is why I still want to see them as Blue Beetle and Booster Gold.
Someone suggested Charlie Day for Deadpool, and I was semi-obsessed with that idea for a while.
Trailer looks decent, although VERY Dexter-ish like you said. Also like you said, Sean William Scott is just ... great. You couldn’t be more right that he’s almost always the best part of whatever he’s in, and I hope I see more of him.
I’ve always liked Seann William Scott. He’s been in a lot of real junk that was made watchable just because of his presence.
Delevingne is a big red flag for any production at this point.
You’re not required to say everything you think.
I felt that deeply.
