Re: Oysters - yeah, that ain’t fun at all. Did this at a restaurant when I was in college, quickly switched to being a server. Also, oysters don’t have a long “shelf life,” so you gotta serve them as fresh as possible, otherwise you’re throwing them out the next day.

Perhaps the Pelicans are holding out for the scenario in which the Knicks get the first draft pick, which they can trade to the Pelicans for AD. Then the Pelicans can draft professional student-athlete Zion Williamson.

I’ve worked in a few of the other states, (in hotel/restaurant business), and I was always shocked when I saw paychecks! Plus some servers have told me of really awful “tip pooling” schemes that kept a cut for the owner...not good!

True - only 8 states do not allow tip credits, (Alaska, California, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Oregon & Washington), servers paid minimum wage plus tips.
