The only way to stop a bad 9 year old with a gun is to arm a good 9 year old with a gun, obviously.

Gonna have to agree with the first person putting Thor 2 in their least citing no humor - some of my favorite pre-Ragnarock Thor lines were in 2, like the “I am pushing the button” banter, the subway scene with the chick sliding up to him, the jealous boyfriend bit. There was fun in there, mostly overshadowed by a meh…
I’ll agree with the “we should read this for what we can learn” and not “See why you should feel sorry for them”.
I like a good horror/thriller/suspense movie, but when my friend and I finally watched that movie (Swedish version) we found it mostly boring. We definitely didn’t get what all the fuss was about.
I’d say not just makeup - I had a friend buy some clippers from Ulta, and when she brough them home to use them, it seemed to have been opened before, and when she went to use them clipped hairs came out. Definitely returned them after that. I figured it was a fluke until I saw this article.
Saying they can be female without being a stereotype and actually living it are two different things. As a non-conforming female (no makeup, shaved my head, guy clothes but definitely identifying as female) I did go through a phase when I questioned if maybe I was transgender due to my preferences in those areas.…
“Fun side note - all relationships do not default to romantic until proven otherwise.”
Never said they just because guys are close that they must be gay. I even stated an example of that first. And comics Cap and Bucky definitely are more older/younger brother, but in MCU, they didn’t have the age/history difference of the comics, and due to the small amount of exploration of their background, it leaves…
Here’s the irony. That’s been the truth for forever. Two guys close? “Must be ‘Best Bros’ before ‘Homos’!” But the sad reality is often people who looked like best friends were acting in such a way because they knew the dangers of people realizing they were in a relationship. So for a lot of the LGBTQ community,…
The downside to assigned seating. For GotG2, I was one of the first in line, got prime seating up front and center. Then a Mom with 4 young kids with her sat in the row behind me. After a fair amount of running all over the place, one of the runners was sitting behind me and proceeded to sporadically kick the back of…
Trolololol fail.
How much of a cunt do you need to be to not realize it’s rarely that simple?
Let’s be honest, what Hollywood is teaching by example is women are always going to be victims and can’t help that, but the upside to rape is they become more dynamic and interesting people after the fact. And we wonder why people look at rape statistics and go “Too bad, but inevitable.”
Just amazing, how guys can have whole arcs of growth without rape, but if you want to grow a woman’s character, guess you better get to raping. Just....ugh.
I’m agreeing with TheAllusionist - nothing about that ending felt redeeming. They’re still dislike-able people.
I’ll admit, 40 years old here, and not that I’ve ever used the term, but I didn’t know how racist it was until last weekend.
I got a couple Amazon digital movies, but had to rebuy them as physical when there was no way to get the director’s commentary online. Also, piling on all the special features at the end of the movie with no table of contents to skip to what you want is a terrible layout idea.

In part, studios have to invest in someone who knows how to write an actual movie. This year was better than previous years, but somewhere around mid 2000s the majority of films were just crap. I used to go weekly, but had to give it up as it was a waste of time and money.
This feels like when white people living white lives then turn around and say “Get over slavery”.
WTB something more entertaining. Even in hyperbole this was a tedious chore.
