Here's what I don't understand about some religion's stance against birth control: If contraceptives are considered sinful, then shouldn't if also be a sin for a couple to NOT copulate each month during ovulation in order to try and create a baby?

When I was a kid, at least from age 8 on, when we'd go to the mall, I would go directly to the bookstore and stay there while my mom did the rest of her shopping. She'd come back and I'd be in a corner of the store on the floor reading, with a pile of at least 5 new books I wanted. Maybe the fact that I didn't wander…
They want to, but the can't talk about it and have to pretend like they don't want to. So even though probably most of these dudes wives and daughters use birth control, they'll still argue against it. Because they are insane.
Well, really, all of ballet is about stretching your body into ways that aren't exactly natural. That's not really something that I think of as a problem with the form. That's why not everyone makes it as a professional ballerina. Some people's bodies just can't do those things, no matter how much they try.
A chance to tell my Karl Lagerfeld story!!!
My grandmother was a bit of a recluse and a hoarder. She was also such a difficult person that most of the family avoided her as much as possible, but people did check on her weekly. She was dead in her apartment for a few days before it was discovered. Pretty sad, but in the defense of my family, people tried for…
That is very true, Sybil is a strong lady, and definitely tells Branson when he needs to dial it down a bit.
Exactly! I acquired more than $8k in debt because I was living and working in Manhattan and couldn't afford to buy groceries, my MetroCard, and pay rent without using a credit card. It was the worst.
Another thing about working in media/publishing is that even if you do manage to get a job from after all the unpaid experience has filled up your resume, you still barely make a living wage. Publishing salaries are notoriously low across the board until you get up to the head honchos.
Yeah, I guess there would be the danger of violence. But really, if someone is taking ALL that merchandise to buy, how could they mad at someone taking a couple pieces? But I guess they are just assholes in the first place.
Oh man, that would suck. What a weird thing to do anyway. Why would you want someone else's random array of purchases unless you were like, an evil twin and wanted to take over their life.
I'm surprised no one just went up and took stuff out of their carts. I mean, if they can't enforce limits on how much people can buy, then there isn't really any rule that the stuff in a person's cart belongs to them, and not the store, until it's purchased.
Ugh see, I just see Branson as kind of domineering and really pushing Sybil to choose his choices, because he KNOWS that's what she wants. I really wanted to root for him, but so far this season he just is coming off as pretty douchey in my opinion.
Ugh yeah, she just became so terrible. And not even in a fun adversary to the rich ladies way, just totally and completely annoying.
I know! I always thought her hesitance came from the fact that she truly did care for him, and in my opinion, given the chance to get to know him more, she maybe one day would have wanted him as a romantic partner. I would think many other poor girls in her situation would jump at the chance to become a war widow…
Well, to be fair, both Nicki and MIA are adults capable of making their own choices, and could have chosen not to be featured in her song. She didn't "make" them do anything.
I had a female boss call me babe one time, but it was accidental because she had 5 daughters and was a scatterbrain and could barely remember her own name.
I get annoyed when women younger than me, that I don't know call me something like sweetie. I don't really know why, I guess I find it condescending.
I would allow for that lady on the bus possibly being crazy? But of course, some people just really don't like to be touched.
For some reason I get really annoyed by women younger than me calling me pet names, usually that happens when I'm shopping, and the woman at the register will say something along the lines of, "Have a great day, sweetie." It just irks me.
