Ah yes, little boys tend to react to guns differently than girls. I wanted nothing to do with the guns! But my brother had his own hunting rifle and went hunting with our dad, so he was less curious about what was inside the safe, and never tried to break into it (as far as I know).

My dad always had guns when I was growing up, from hand guns to hunting rifles. But they were always locked up in a gun safe, like a big, huge safe in the corner of a room, not a lock box that could be carried around. Totally agree. I have a Toyota Avalon and with snow tires I do just fine. SUV drivers often think they are untouchable in the snow because of their vehicle type, but you have to respect the weather, otherwise you end up stuck or smashed into a median because of a spin out!

I live in Salt Lake City (lots of snow) and I have none of those things in my car. I do have a cell phone charger though. And chains for my tires (which I don't know how to install). But it's a very metropolitan/suburban area and I never go into the wilderness/mountains.
