Pouches of SHIELD

One of the key issues is that there's so much demand for jobs in the gaming industry that the companies can afford to be abusive, yet the quality level of many of these applicants are so low they'd rather burn out their known successes rather than risk new unknowns with their warm-up time and what not. It's a vicious

"I an[sic] other country, that guy would be charged by now."

"He also got them into trouble in the first place because he felt it was un-manly to plan too much, that it would take the true adventure out of it."

From what I understand, the logic they use is more like this... sure, the temperature may have risen a little bit in the last century, but the Earth is a huge place, and it has massive natural swings that are too big and powerful for man to have influenced as much as the fear mongers look to make it seem. Besides,

My speculation is that, if the smaller movies announced for DC come to fruition, at least those will be highly likely tied to the TV series. Deathstroke, the Suicide Squad, and even Team 7 all have roots in Arrow currently, and Kord Industries hints provide an 'in' for Booster Good and a Blue Beetle setup for Ted.

WHAT? I didn't say she's... oh... yeah. :P SPOILAHS!

What? You can totally tell them she's Irene Adler. :)

For the sake of historical research, I present the proto-doge from the esteemed works of the Brothers Chap.

I love how the cartoon there can be simultaneously adorably fantastical about what we'd get to and at once grossly underestimating their own technologies. The latter seems to be basically an issue of just assuming we'd build off TV and phones forever. If they'd been able to figure out the trend toward digitalization

"The other issue is that even if every man woman and child here became coders, outsourced workers are still cheaper and companies will continue to use them."

I don't know... can you monetize it?

TV writers, please... code for an hour, so you stop making such puerile mistakes.

That's definitely a part of it. The Sideline or whatever preview also showed something I've seen as a common denominator with a lot of self-proclaimed right wing comedians, which is a pretty weak leaning on old tropes. Then again, even the author's designs for a better alternative going after liberal Hollywood

Yes. Chopsticks for salad is a pretty pro move I learned earlier this year. Forks force you either to scoop or stab through your food, and the latter is bad for lettuce and croutons. The grabbing action works so much better for keeping that stuff intact until it's in your mouth.

Seconded. That they're potentially weaving in from Day -1 that Professor Zoom has been fucking with the Flash's timeline is incredible. I'm hoping the crazy speculation of the "TV-up" world building is true, because Arrow is approaching GOAT status for supers shows.

I'd actually say for DC, it makes more sense now to stick with the WW Greek mythology to be 'closer' to Earth than how Asgard in Marvel takes on a very Kirby-like base. That gives more room for easy leakage of myths of old into the normal world, and could be a sort of dividing line between the developing DC media

Well, they are long-standing traditional white American structures, so yeah, we're all sure Obama hates them. :P
