This is amazing. Go you!!
This is amazing. Go you!!
Haha I am with you. I am sure I am just being an old lady but BACK IN MY DAY (in 2003) I put a single rose behind my ear and called it a night.
Vegetarian cooking classes are a great idea. I’m a vegan and people often ask me why I’m so creative with vegetables—but the truth is probably just close to necessity. I think everyone should know a bit about vegetarian cooking just to have exposure to meals that are not meat-centric.
My office is like that too. I just tell myself “I don’t eat that,” and for some reason it usually helps.
I remember this struggle from before I started force-feeding my husband. Many things were brought to the office, and I froze EVERYTHING that would conceivably freeze well.
I feel more optimistic than pessimistic about that combination! Then again I love a sweet potato. I put them in everything.
This is so cute! I might just copy you :)
I went Pinterest crazy during my last move with my husband. Decorating together and furniture shopping is so fun! Also if you can survive and thrive on a trip to Ikea you are basically ready for marriage.
What a beautiful blanket!
I really want that to be true, but I don’t think it is. I have gotten diagnosed with both PCOS and subclinical hypothyroidism, both of which can cause weight gain—it’s probably because I try so damn hard that I haven’t gained more.
I LOVED Lamb! What a lovely gift! Ugh this just warms my heart.
Way more yays for your PhD! And also a mutual yay for naps :)
Yeah I feel you. I do most of my own cooking (I like my food better than most restaurants, tbh...and then I wonder if maybe I am just more liberal with the olive oil than the average home cook) and that does not seem to stop me.
I was supposed to get a facial but my esthie canceled :(
Lots of little trips! To Texas to see my brother and his family (I am a vegan and will starve), Monterey with my husband for a weekend, a three-day comedy fest! I live in the Bay Area where it’s cold every summer, and honestly just getting really excited to break out (er, rent) alllll the sundresses and rompers.
I got assigned another account, which considering it technically should be assigned to someone higher up in management than me, I am choosing to interpret as one step closer to a promotion that I thiiiink I might get after my next round of reviews. I also had some really successful client meetings this week!
Go you! It’s ridiculous, but I signed up for a SoulCycle challenge—15 classes in 30 days. I’m halfway there as of tomorrow! Proceeds go to charity and I get what is effectively a $450 water bottle and one free class!
Bartender has moves and sounds lovely, so naturally I wouldn’t trust him, haha.
Trigger warning for EDs ahead!
If it’s available to you, I like to do a produce delivery to keep me on my toes so I always need to figure out new recipes. I spend hours on Pinterest every week just getting ideas and follow a few food-focused IG accounts for more inspiration. If you don’t like to cook, maybe you can do a plant-based meal delivery…
