Darvish has been one of the best pitchers in the league post All-Star break when he got back into form after his injury. Hell, in September he struck out nearly 2 batters an inning all month during all his starts.

It wasn’t a transcript, it was a summary drafted off notes.  If the summary was that fucked, the transcript they attempted to hide has to be monumentally worse.

I forgot all about Chip Kelly in SF.  Was there a bigger College to NFL flameout as Kelly was?  The man was regarded by some as a genius in college.  Then he went to the NFL and wrecked 1 franchise and pounded a few nails in another franchise.  

I still can’t get over Scott Boras comparing and selling Oliver Perez as the next Sandy Koufax in one of his famous player binders given to prospective teams during his free agency.

It wasn’t nearly as bad as I had expected. My company is based in Boston and the fallout from them winning it again in ‘07 was women in an entire corner of the country wearing pink Dustin Pedroia jerseys. I was expecting a similar cruel fate to greet me in the bleachers, didn’t happen.

Hell, I’m well and fully braced for the possibility of a rough years long stretch again. My level of disappointment this year is only so large because the theoretical “Championship Window” is planned through the 2021 season.
