I don’t fully understand Kim’s logic in a marriage proposal. Yes it protects them legally but she just said she can’t trust Jimmy anymore, that he played her and they’re at breaking point- why would she want to get married now?

I remember there was some kind of groundbreaking party for the casino at the end of the last season but that is, honestly, all I can remember.
The arc without them was still very good, but with them? its could have been great. Like I said, even if it was only for an episode or two. They deserved an on screen send off.
Agree completely. They laughed hysterically. I didn’t see the humor.
I never really hated Childan. I may just be forgetting something but I don’t feel like he really ever did anything wrong.
He was just trying to make his way in a new world and continually trying to work and get his life together when Frank and company would come in screw it up (over and over).
I’m not sure I entirely agree. The character (who is not mentioned above) who is killed off screen in the first episode I really felt was missed.
They weren’t even sympathizers. The Duke and Wallis were full on committed Nazis, and he committed treason by passing them military information. The fact that The Crown makes him out to be some misguided free-spirit is one of its worst deviations from the facts. It is true, however, that Charles was fascinated by him,…
I agree and don’t get the “boring” charge either. I am amazed that they managed to pay almost everything off in the finale. Yes, there are some elements that strained credulity (especially in this last season), but the characters and performances were so good that I forgave all of that.
It’s very rare to see…
So has it ever been explained why when Tagmoi transits dimensions he just silently goes *poof* but when anyone else does it it causes a freaking earthquake?
I didn’t think the first season was boring at all. In fact, I liked all three previous seasons. But, after already watching the first five episodes of the new season, I’m confident that this one is the best.
I may be in a minority but I have never found the show boring. I admit season one had a slow pace but I was intrigued enough by the world-building that I guess I didn’t mind. And boy howdy, did they have to build a world. I am very much looking forward to this season.
So glad they made 4 seasons. Maybe I’m in the minority but I enjoyed all of it. It reminded me somehow to the best episodes of “Sliders”, way back in the day.
As a history buff and fan of intricate world-building, I’ve loved this show from day 1, despite the slow first season, so I’m glad to hear it ends on a high note.
That’s a great article. I think, though, that Logan did know of the weight Ken was carrying and telling Ken he isn’t a killer and that it was no real person involved could also be seen as him subtlety baiting Ken to make the move he did. Maybe I’m looking into it too much, but I feel like there were a number of clues…
I agree. I feel like it was a veiled reminder for Ken, being part of the challenge Logan was lying out for him. Logan knew he had to be the sacrifice made to satisfy the shareholders and that if Ken rose to the challenge to sacrifice Logan, Ken would be truly rising to power. Logan’s knowledge of Ken’s crime was first…
This has probably been addressed by the commentariat, but Greg has been Kendall’s part-time handler, so it made sense for him to be on the plane. To make sure Kendall ‘doesn’t jump out of the plane’ as Kendall himself said.
Let’s give Randall a hand with the quotes!
“I love you, I do, I just wonder if — I wonder if the sad I’d be without you would be less than the sad I get from being with you.”
He’s incompetent and neurotic, but I’d argue he’s not so much a creep. He certainly presented himself that way first season but I believe that he was trying to fit in to this weird, ruthless family and he thinking that’s how the super rich are supposed to act. The writing of the character, I believe, has to do many…
As fantastic as Kendall’s ending speech and Logan’s faint, grim smile were (Dad is proud of you at last, killer), the scene that will stick with me was Tom’s moment of truth-telling at the cove (the one without a sea urchin). Matthew Fuckin’ MacFadyen, man. The way he shifted from the sublimely ridiculous “Bye rock! Y…
