I was pretty disappointed with El Camino. I loved all of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul (and I assume Breaking Bad holds up but I haven’t watched it). This is the first Breaking Bad-verse product which disappointed me at all and which seemed unnecessary. One of the things I didn’t like about it was how much of it

Jesse apparently settled in my town so I’ll keep my eyes out for him. He’s probably picking up some carpentry work for the winter, found himself a dry cabin to rent for just a little too much, and looking around to deckhand in the summer. He’s going to fit in pretty well, actually.

Did it? I don’t remember much of that but it’s been a while since I did a rewatch. I guess my biggest problem is that if you’re going to do a movie, it should feel like its own thing. Obviously it’s not going to be a completely self-contained story but it seems like it should be something that stands on its own. This

Badger and Skinny Pete are amazing friends.

I know this season was written and shot months ago. But tonight, more than any other episode, had me gobsmacked at the mirroring of current events. A family dynasty of a soulless patriarch and the siblings who stop at nothing for their means to survive at whatever the cost is so incredibly  Trumpian, it’s remarkable.

My favorite was Tom’s “Ooh, this sounds schemey. Redolent of thwart.” Probably because his actor’s British, but I love it when Tom has his pretentious airs.

I was chatting with someone online and we think the cast may not have known exactly what Jeremy was going to do, and that’s why the reactions shots were so wonderful. The actress who plays Gerri said they do takes with the script as written, then some where the director says just have fun, improv a little. So him

I feel like they pointed the finger pretty hard at Ewan being the whistle-blower’s backer... BUT, how did Ewan find out, and could there be any connection other than “coincidence” that Ewan turns out to be a major player in the cruise scandal surfacing, and Greg having been in the primary circle of the coverup?

Once the rap started, I was out. I decided to read about it later. This show puts me in The Office territory of squirminess far too often. I do want all the Emmys for Tom though.

Anyone else wonder whether Ewan is the wealthy financer of the cruises suit that’s about to break? The timing of his warning to Greg and especial, well, “grumpiness” here seems a bit suspicious.

I cringed so hard during Kendall’s rap performance that I think my head actually entered into my sternum. Just, wow. WOW. Give Jeremy Strong the Emmy on that alone.

The way Kendall emphasizes the G in O.G. is somehow one of the funniest things I’ve seen on TV this year.

Kendall clearly did the same thing I did: IMDB’d his new girlfriend.

“When I lose the other person generally loses an eye or soul.”

Not gonna talk much about Marcia eh? Because this is the episode where we finally get to see her in action and her claws and fangs are as sharp, brutal, and vicious as we expect of her. Looks like her and Logan are done as far as him dumping her in favor of Rhea and her reciprocating in kind.

As soon as I heard that faux-Dre piano I started saying “Oh, fuck,” and I haven’t stopped yet.

I anxiously await whatever Succession has up its sleeve that can top L to the OG, KenW.A. and “I need to negotiate a Greg-xit” all being in the same ep.

I feel like 3-4 weeks ago I was “team Shiv,” and she sucks so badly now with her entitled bullshit I’ve been properly smacked in the face and reminded of how badly ALL OF THEM SUCK AND THIS IS TERRIBLE AND A COMEDY. Please, almightly God... tell me this how is a comedy.

Let’s not confuse Tom with a good person. I think the reason Tom’s a fan favorite entirely has to do with how Matthew McFayden plays him, but if you look at Tom on just the facts presented, he’s a shallow social climber, willing to sacrifice whatever morals he may have (everyone’s against Nazis, Greg!) to toe the

If you look carefully at around the 49:50/50:00 minute mark, when the Roys are shuffling the halls toward their meeting with Nan, Kendall is at the back of their line as they pass a maid coming down the stairs, carrying a laundry basket, and looking suspiciously at Kendall... I think we’re meant to understand that she
