Maybe it works better now with the better electronics, but the V-Due used 1997 technology.

The problem with the V-Due wasn’t really the motor itself, it was the attempt at getting fuel injection to work on a two-stroke. Power band was so narrow it was damn near unusable.

Groms are very available where I live, but that’s mainly because I live in Alabama where needing to go 70 mph or above is almost a requirement to get anywhere within reasonable time. But that’s not what the Grom is for.
That being said, I love it. I was worried at first because of it’s lack of speed and power, but,

I’m on my sixth bike, fourth custom. I saw some potential and took the time and money to build it the way I wanted. It’s fast, fun, and I think it’s gorgeous.
