2012 Boss 302. I loved mine but that transmission was terrible. Constantly locked out of 1/3/5 when warm, R when cold, 1/2 a lap at THill and the clutch stuck to the floor. It would have been a forever car if the transmission had just worked. Also I’d give a shout out to the Evo 8/9 MR - loved that car as well but

Hadn’t been on the site in a while and I come see if it has gotten any better recently and saw this bullshit list without the Yellowbird. Made me realize I was right to have stopped coming. Surprised it isn’t full of Prii hypermiling the ring videos…

I have never seen a non-refundable deposit for an order (except maybe my dad’s Model S - I wasn’t involved other than helping him pick it up) regardless of brand, and in this state at least if they try to keep the deposit they are going to get hammered with some bad faith penalties. I ordered a Boss302 and GT350 (both

Isn’t that a 12 Boss?  I had one and I thought it was a 12, with the 13 being the weird looking one.  It wasn’t my forever car.  The Ariel Atom 3S I have now might be - though I hear the 4 is better to drive.  And the Ultima roadster keeps calling my name...

Hyundai Santa Cruz did a reservation thing where you had to pick a dealer in advance and the car, then the dealer was supposed to contact you when it arrived.  No dealer I talked to would set a price.  On top of that, I have been watching the inventory of the dealer I put my res with (not buying there, but just

I’ve dealt with this a few times.
1) Boss 302 - gave up and then as the 13s were rolling out, a salesman I’d talked to months earlier called saying somebody backed out on a white 12 (what I wanted) and he’d let it go for MSRP if I was the first one there. I ran out the door at work, yelled something toward my boss

There is one dealer in norcal that isn’t doing markup, but they are small. I put in an order a month ago and mine is supposed to show up in a week or two - it’s been built for a couple weeks so just waiting on shipping.  I also found a mid-Cal dealer that was doing no markup on GT350 when I bought mine.  Just got to

You didn’t look very hard. Here is Lithia Hyundai - also notice how they lie about the MSRP on some of them. FWIW I’ve seen the misstating the MSRP so it looks like there is no markup many, many times on various brands’ dealership websites and even on listing sites like cars.com or whatever.  Also FWIW I have one on

I just picked up a Model S with my father a couple weeks ago and the pickup experience at the Tesla showroom or whatever they call it was the worst I have ever had. Besides taking over an hour just to get them to bring the keys (and another hour waiting while they programmed new keys because the card ones were messed

Cowboy Beebop.  Car is short for Cartoon, right?

How can it be overrated if it isn’t out yet? Over hyped yeah totally, but you can’t have an accurate rating of something that doesn’t exist.

The real point of snorkels are for getting above the dust, not the water. If you are following someone else in the dirt, then it will mean a lot less cleaning air filters.  99% of people still don’t need them, but at least make fun of them for the right reason.

Thank you. I talked to a journalist that had the spec sheet they were given and it said 74.8 inches which is basically the same. Juuuust barely will work.

FWIW I contacted by phone or email every single Hyundai dealer in California and a bunch in Nevada and Arizona. 2 said they would not discuss pricing except in person at the dealership (and didn’t have any in stock), 3 kept responding quoting prices for Santa Fes and Sonata despite my each time replying that I was

My question is specifically about the length with the tailgate down. I had to leave the gate down to for a motorcycle in my old tacoma, but I need about 73” to be able to load it myself. 52+21 would barely work, then just turn the form to push it a couple inches in so it isn’t on the edge. I can just wait but I’ve

What is the total length of the bed with the tailgate down? Both from the bottom and from the top where the cover housing takes up space. Whether I can fit my supermotos in the bed with the gate down will determine if I buy one and I have gotten zero answers from Hyundai.

I only have experience in grass roots racing but it was pretty obvious. Everyone was polite when women were around but then after the common theme in what guys said was that women lack the competitive instinct and will never be good at wheel to wheel racing (as opposed to things like ax or drag racing) because they

But was there ever a good hardtop convertible? I personally liked the SL but it wasn’t exactly a mass market car. The new Miata isn’t really a hard top vert and the choice to make it not allow a rollbar was a mistake. Targas and lift tops (Jeep, Vette) I don’t count.

I have my atom insured through Rally. You tell them the value and they set the premium based on it. Can’t be your only car - they require info about your primary car’s insurance since it is for collectibles. Other than that they don’t seem to care what the car is.

Would the unibody be an issue for the 2 door version? That would be a long stretch for the longer bed without any roof to keep the bed from twisting.
