Lower deck heights. They need lower deck heights. I’m sorry that I’m one of the rare people who actually use my truck as a truck, hauling ****, but getting heavy crap that last 6" or so into the lowest current beds is where you hurt yourself. It’s the difference between dead lifting it and sliding it in, and having to

If I wasn’t almost 40, I’d rock that over another boring Repsol. Though I rather go with a classy tricolore or something if available.

Exactly! Those aren’t legal in the EU, because they stick out. They could have designed the back to be way more interesting if they had gone all out on a US version. It’s so ****ing expensive anyways, what’s another hundred grand or something for a better rear end?

Call me an optimistic fool, but there is always sideways!

So that’s what was under the Ford Bronco tarp!

The real problem is the spacing on the meat and potato 2-3-4 gears. Having superfluous gears is like the blank switch plates, it is a visual annoyance but isn’t really a functional problem (unless it requires smaller, weaker gears like Evo 8/9 MR 4th, or they do a dogleg 1st which is terrible). Some cars need the

I look at it like Ikea. For a long time, everyone hated Ikea but bought it because it was what they could afford. People still bought real wood if they could afford it. Eventually, people convinced themselves that they bought the crap Ikea because they wanted to, not because they had to, and convinced other people.

Bumper rules were only for a few years. Our bumpers are still more regulated but not so much that they look like that anymore. You have to immerse yourself in the zeitgeist, not live in the past, buddy :p

My first reaction was naw, the pedestrian safety junk would make these illegal. You know, the reason why we have ugly flat fronts and high hoods and everything looks like a marshmallow with a couple wrinkles going down the side. But nope, those are European standards. Articles I just looked at said we don’t have our

I made a version years ago that was cleaner, but I couldn’t find it. Maybe there’s one on Zazzle.

I know a guy who had the ur-Raptor, then swapped it for a Roush or whatever version that had a blower added, and now has the new one. He pulls a 30ish foot enclosed trailer stuffed with motorcycles and it is comical to watch him waddling down the highway. I know they weren’t designed to be tow rigs, but there should

Now playing

There’s a new Bronco mockup under a tarp in the other thread, what are you even doing in here?

Somebody over starched the tarp and then folded it, so it’s just tenting. But it still has me tenting, if you know what I mean.

I said I’d never buy another Ford, and I stuck to my guns on the RS and the Escape, but if they actually build a modern ur-Bronco it will likely be what breaks me. If they are just ****teasing us again, then in the words of Pedro Cerrano, “**** you [Ford].” We are done forever.

Rest now, sweet prince.

Ducatis have variable timing. It is to pass smog, even the guys who sell them admit that they don’t add power or give flatter torque compared to the dirtier fixed timing previous gen. (Maybe if it’s on a hi-po sport bike, they were talking me out of a Multistrada)

I’ve been wanting to try a motor with the doughnut valves since I first heard about them, but considering that their website hasn’t been updated since 2011 I don’t think that’s happening anytime soon :(

They don’t even use oval valves on top of oval pistons.

Some motorcycles do it. It’s pretty funny looking when you pull the cover off.
