I remember seeing ads in magazines for Dominion (I think was the name) bolt on 4 valve heads for the SBF.

Please stop telling people to buy BMWs with that era V12. They have literal 6' tall stacks of them at the various independent BMW shops my friends own (I’ve discussed it on Jalopnik before, it’s 3 shops) and 2 of them refuse to install 12s in to replace the old ones because they always just show up on flatbeds again.
The data on the MIG is inaccurate. If they hand you the deposit contract that’s an offer, if you hand it back signed and unaltered that’s an acceptance, and even if that is questionable then their accepting money as per the contract makes it binding on them even if they don’t sign. Assuming that the person who handed…
Why doesn’t he just cover it with transparent aluminum?
Back in the day, swords were outlawed in Sicily so dapper young gentlemen that needed protection started to carry pizzle sticks, or, if they were really well off, pizzle canes. Yes, dried bull penises. That they used for self defense. Some Sicilian homes have them hanging over the mantle like how Filipinos have a…
No, he actually bought a new car.
I used zip ties and gaffer tape to put my camber plate back together after I shattered it, just to get myself home...180 miles away haha. Hazards on and on the shoulder the whole way, but it worked. Tire was crazy cupped when I got home, but it would have been due for new tires by the end of the day anyways.…
I believe it, and suspect that it is actually low since boredom/getting distracted is often a sign of being tired. Source: I once woke up in a corn field mowing down stalks at 40 mph, my brother screaming in the passenger seat. I’m now a big proponent of roadside naps, though I’ve been hassled by the cops a few times…
No, and I have indicated why in these pictures. Unacceptably ugly.
So, everyone on this site loves the 850's V12, what’s up with that? Around here, where those cars were relatively common, they are known as the boat anchor. I have 3 friends (one’s more of an acquaintance, but I give him venison sometimes so he gives me free wiper fluid pumps and stuff) that own 3 independent BMW…
My car came without a rear view mirror, and the stock right side mirror was completely blocked by the A pillar. Totally worth it for a snorkel near your ear, especially if it is boosted.
Do those Jeeps have ABS? Even if so, I’m guessing it was pretty primitive vs modern systems, and a modern system if you just hammer the brake will probably be more even 2wd vs 4wd. If it is a primitive system like these vehicles have, then the locked center, etc may make up for the slop in the system.
Like how in an…
I normally try to stay out of subjective arguments, but this list is horse swaggle. You criticize Alcantara for steering wheels, but you don’t say anything about the higher ranked wood and aluminum for steering wheels. Which both (all three?) are horrible for, unless it is a real classic that will be driven in…
This did not show up in the Jalopnik news feed. Is it because it is Countersteer? It should still show up, I mean the **** from Jezebel and stuff show up sometimes so why not another car related one? Or is it just a hiccup, because the older posts seem to be going to the feed? Make the Jalopnik news feed great again!
Remember when they were $6k in decent shape, but that was ****ing blood money because you were just out of school? Cali remembers. Later, when they were $8-10k, I found one that was immaculate with really low miles (just enough to not rot) for $12k and I was this close |-| to buying it...my pen was hovering above the…
I logged on just to post basically this, but you beat me to it. Also, nice screen name.
I need to see that in person. My gut says I won’t like it, but it might be nice in the sunlight.
Put a real motor in it, and even in that ugly style I’d buy another one. The cooling system and generally ****y motor were the reason I sold my ‘15, I loved it otherwise.
