I can’t stand RCR, but I’ll agree with most of what you wrote. The thing is, though, in certain areas guys in their 20s and 30s are still into Harleys. I’ll even admit some of them look cool, and 90% (being generous here) of riders could really give a **** about how the bike rides. They just want it for cars’n’coffee,

Falken had some decent cheapo tires, though I haven’t had to scrabble for tire money in a while so idk what they have now.

I also convinced my ex to put a set of cheapo Coopers on her mini at one point, bc she paid way too much for it (including markup) and couldn’t afford to put good tires on it. They were fine as

This might be the best post I’ve ever seem here. Bravo.

For the most part, I think it is all overblown. I know a lot of people who ran cheap knock offs, and I have seen them fail at around the same rate as high end wheels. For the track, I know way more people running Rota RBs and stuff like that then high end wheels, and again the failure rate is similar. My RBs

That one isn’t mine, but yes I do. Is there a way to send personal messages here? I don’t want to clutter this up.

I totally forgot about our Jeep. We bought it for our cattle ranch because I got tired of everyone using my Bronco and not cleaning it. It is all dirt roads and mountains. Something about the Jeep would make the turds boomerang in through where doors normally are. We would hit the dry ones on purpose to smack the

Indeed.

I was expecting you to have to move in with your aunt and uncle in Bel Aire at the end.

Ginger, so guess. It is worse than your guess, unless you guessed 1" thick, oozing, bleeding sun blisters because **** me I didn’t think I’d need to Dr. Moreau on an overcast, drizzling day. I didn’t back when I had more hair. I now keep a Doge balaclava in the car, and wear it even at night.

I can fit a burrito and a pair of gloves in my frunk, if I bend the burrito into an L.

I’m totally A-OK on the light laws. ***holes put in the extra bright ones without changing to the correct style housing, and without adjusting the beam height or adding the leveling system, then they blind everyone on the road. **** those guys. It is the night version of rolling coal.

70k will get you an NA Atom, 150k will get you an Ultima. This article is invalid.

Whoa, hold up there. I never said it was more fun than the sumo. If I can only have one toy, it’s a supermoto. If it is sumo +1, then that +1 is the Atom. Also, I live about 5 minutes from some great mountain roads. I’d probably be all about big bikes if I lived somewhere flat.

I would be surprised too, except I’ve driven one :D I think a big part of it is that mine is the turbo, so you have the turbo noises right up next to your ear spitting and sneezing. The NA and old SC versions don’t feel as alive, but the turbo is almost like riding an angry animal. Plus the open sides let you watch

If they are working, I’d just stick with them. I’ve been told by mechanics that leaving a little tension is better, because it doesn’t shock them as much disengaging and the dogs are strong enough that the drag while engaging doesn’t matter. Also, that’s a nice pair of bikes. I’m a little jelly. I’d have another

You ride a European bike, right? Try not completely disengaging the clutch so there is a little pull on the tranny. Most bikes prefer that. Full clutch for going into neutral.

Nobody buys the base model BMWs. Proof: my brother has the 1600.

The Slingshot is a slow turd, though it is also what 1/3 the price? If I was going for slow anyways, I’d just get a Miata.

It’s not just SF. The entire bay sucks. Moving to walking distance from work is the single biggest quality of life improving decision I have ever made. It is not an option for most people, I just got lucky, but it is so worth it if you can.
