This is largely to do with the type of hair we have I wash my hair once a week because black hair is very brittle and can easily be damaged with too much washing. I use a shampoo like once every two weeks (it’s a really thick shampoo) and other times I use a cowash or/a cleansing…

Most black folk back in my day, 70’s & 80’s, taught us to never share hats or ear muffs. I thought they didn’t want us to get blamed by the white parents for bringing the lice. If I recall correctly, none of us got lice but a bunch of white girls got the Dorothy Hamil cut whenever an outbreak occurred.

My son’s school nurse told us that black people rarely got head lice because of the products they use on their hair and that lice prefer squeaky clean hair with no products. I’m not gonna lie, the lice was so bad in my son’s 1st grade class that I was researching EVERYTHING.

I’m just really happy I’m black guys. Never had lice.

I made it through school without lice, and I am nearly positive this is due to the 2+ hours a day I spent in a well-chlorinated pool.

If you put bleach and peroxide in your hair it will naturally turn it blonde. So yes. All Natural.
