The thing I never get about these wrecks is why the hell are all these cars heading into the pile up going so damn fast in the first place with these conditions. Living in Southern Ontario all my life in conditions like this on the highways cars are probably going to be rolling at 60 km/h-80 tops for safety reasons.

Apparently, of the large trucks involved, one was carrying loads of fireworks which actually went off (there's video of this on the internet but I'm lazy), and the other was carrying hazardous material, which prompted an evacuation of nearby homes.

Nobody at any point claims you should take prescription drugs here, the only way to get the nutrients you need is through a balanced diet and that's the only thing recommended in place of detoxes/cleanses. The only way to "detox" your system is to let your body do its natural thing.

Well, there's not always a source because there's no reason to do a big study here, we know that's not how the body works, which all the experts here agreed with. As I also pointed out in the article, it's IMPOSSIBLE to study any of the claims from these detoxes because none of them give specifics.

I'm doing ok, guys. Thanks for your private messages of encouragement. They've been comforting.

The problem isn't with mixing spirituality and science fiction. It's with mixing them up. They are not the same thing.

As I said in my article, I don't mind when the science is speculative or crazy. But when you confuse science with spirituality, it's not just "unrealistic" science. It's bad storytelling. It's confusing two very different, very important ideas and creating a confusing mess.
