Something that irks me is people who don’t use turn signals. But the people who REALLY ruin my day are those who drive at or under the speed limit but can’t be bothered to signal. If you’re going to follow one law, FOLLOW THEM ALL.

As a motorcyclist on a higher bike (FJ-09), I’m afforded the ability to see into many of the cars that I’m next to or passing.

When people block the box. Almost every time someone does it, the people getting blocked get mad and start running the red. Not getting up to highway speed by the end of the on ramp.

Your car should be matching traffic (or even a little faster so you can find a hole) BEFORE the ramp meets the lanes.

I will drive completely up your asshole if you are doing 40 at the end of the ramp.

Once or twice a week I miss my left turn arrow because someone going straight hasn’t the decency to to inch forward so the cars behind don’t block the entrance to the turning lane.  Seriously, give yourself six feet to the car in front, you don’t need thirty feet.  

Counterpoint: As a pedestrian, cyclist, motorcyclist, and driver I *hate* super dark limo tinted windows.

What pisses me off on red lights is there is so little to no enforcement (at least where I live).

If anything embodies the selfish, casual ignorance of the American driver, it is failure to use turn signals. For the safety of everyone on the road, please indicate when and where you are planning to move your 2-ton vehicle. It is possibly the easiest and most overlooked task of driving.

Red Light Runners.

There is nothing in this universe worse than a person driving slow in the left lane. You don’t need to go 10 over on the highway, you’re a grown adult you can drive at your own pace. But for the love of god do it in the right lane. In NJ they’ll give you a ticket for this. I wish more places enforced it.

Put the phone down!! You’re operating a multi-ton machine mere feet away from dozens of other people. This one bothers me so much. Especially when I’m in traffic and I can plainly see the person behind me on their phone. I often change lanes just to get away from them. I don’t want to get hit!

Not a violation per se, but it’s one I experienced this morning which really grinds my gears: 20-30 cars are lined up to make a right turn, all waiting behind one oblivious person without a care who is not turning right
