It will be amazing when this comes out. Hopefully, an update to all of their clients (web, Android, iOS).

I can see this bring useful to a layman on the street who wants to know about this “GitHub” company he heard about. But as a “how to” for anyone who wants to use it, this video is almost completely useless. It’s too high level and abstract to be of practical use.

I was about to make the exact same comment. I believe it’s 12 AAA for $19.99 as well.

Spatchcocking is literally the best thing to ever happen to poultry. It cooks faster. It cooks more evenly. And when you combine it with a conduction heat source like a brick or pan, it results in a ton of crispy skin!

Good question. I’m a lazy Asian. I don’t even bother to rinse my rice. But if I did, using a separate bowl seems sensible.

Yikes! Good to know, but for that price, I could buy two and a half of my cheap ones. There’s no way that the interior pot is worth 1/3-1/2 the price of the cooker, especially with all the electronics, induction hardware, and “fuzzy logic” they put into them.

I’ve owned expensive rice cookers like these before, and I’m on hiatus from buying any more. The problem I have is that they have non-stick interiors (which themselves are wonderful) that eventually wear out and become sticky interiors. But they don’t sell replacement interior pots. So instead of replacing just the

Not if you’re making any sort of dough, even as an amateur. A hand mixer will quickly get bogged down in the gluten.

This doesn’t really help your purchase, but Costco had them on sale for $50 for black Friday. They weren’t anker, but I’ve used mine a few times already and they work pretty well. I suppose that’s a good price reference point if nothing else.

I’ve never made tamales, so I get mine from Costco. (sorry if that makes me a bad person.)

Brilliant. I always have a problem with the herb crust falling off. This is definitely going on my prime rib at Christmas.

I like this! Rolling those sentences around my head, “don’t” really did feel much more powerful than “can’t.” But that’s linguistically odd because the denotation of “can’t” is that you’re unable to do so. You’d think that was the final word. Whereas “don’t” implies a choice.

Done! 😉

I’ve done both dozens of times: waited awkwardly for a file to arrive, and taken a coffee break between my desk and theirs. The worst, though, is when they sit right across from you. Then you’re forced to feign working or finishing the e-mail while you wait for the message to leave the outbox. lol.

Precisely!

Lucky you! :-) I got it all the time working in IT. “Where’s my password?” “Where’s the deck?” “I don’t see the latest spreadsheet yet.” etc. etc. etc. Same with IT consulting. Clients get persnickety when you’re billed out at $200/hour, even if that’s not what you’re making.

That’s not a gmail setting, it’s an outlook/exchange one.

That’s genius! Wish I thought of that.
