Yeeeees bring back the traumitizing of children in childrens and family movies!  I live for this

One of the most popular children’s cartoons of all time starts off with the protagonist’s entire nation being genocided. It’s off-screen, but we see some corpses. I think kids can handle a single death.

First, ESO is a completely different team in a completely different studio. But second, that’s kind of the problem. They went from a team handling a single major IP to a team juggling three major IPs, with very little structural changes to the team itself. So while they are still releasing a new game in roughly the

I honestly forget TESO exists.

Poor excuse, you don’t announce something early cause of fans, you announce it early cause your investors are pushing you to, this is just a way to blame somebody else. CDPR did the same thing with Cyberpunk 2077

This. The flak was absolutely because all we were getting was Skyrim re-releases and the disaster of FO76.

The best time to start talking about it is six months before releases.”

“Sir, people are getting grumpy about ES6 not being announced”

Did anybody think they wouldn’t make an Elder Scrolls 6? Ain’t none of this essential. Stop demonizing fandoms for being “toxic”. We are allowed to bitch and moan about things you sell us. Don’t like it? Find yourself a better job.  It’s not our fault your content is mediocre.

I enjoyed my time with it. I played in a high end PC and the only reoccurring issue I had was funny as hell.

It’s the only change I’m not happy about

I also kinda liked the feeling of “Oh shit, I should *not* be in this neighborhood right now.”

I hate this. Why not just get rid of levels completely if you’re going to go with 100% scaling?

Knows something is not possible but tries to do it anyway and complains about it.  Kotaku at its best.

I can sort of get what they’re saying but you’re right, it does go against the grain of this type of game specifically. On the one hand, Starfield with a quiet, contemplative life and avoidable combat is called No Man’s Sky. On the other hand there’s little story to follow or goal to pursue in NMS. An option tree that

Can I have a job writing for Jalopnik if I write a piece about how my Buick doesn’t drive like a Ferrari?

Made an account specifically for this.

Its the G button. Pressing it “ungroups” everyone, stopping them instantly in their tracks.

Lol, they say they were expecting maybe 100k player counts, not the 800k+ they’ve been getting. So cool that low key single player release, with no microtransactions or BS, made by a smaller company, is doing so well. Hopefully, this hell help reverse some of the terrible industry trends we’ve fallen into.

About karmic dice: in early access they did “mitigate failure and success streaks” but they have been changed in full release to only mitigate failures. They will now only benefit you. However, they also benefit enemies. Meaning that your high AC tank is going to get hit more often than they would with normal dice.
