I loved the Brandy Cinderella....and the 1965 one with Lesley Ann Warren:

OMG! Rose AND Daisy??!!! I'm in heaven!

God, I love Alec Baldwin....he's just so naturally smart and funny (plus, he's beautiful to look at).

He's kinda over now...just a cute dad, like Brad whatshisname.

CHRIS PRATT WAS ROBBED!!!!

Wait....so he's not gay?

Yeah, but it jumps on the 50 Shades bandwagon. Uber Christians will be preaching this as an alternative. The guy's likely sending press material to all kinds of Christian organizations suggesting it as an alternative.

Ha!

I know—same here! Even my misogynistic family members have been conceding that he's a sexual predator. My father started in on the "he-said-she-said" argument and "how can we really know what happened," and I said, "Well, he was fired because the video and texts he hoped would exonerate him revealed him physically

Yes, I was thinking of Ghomeshi when I wrote the above, and was actually editing my post to add that when you must've posted. I am completely obsessed with the Ghomeshi scandal here. I think I've read every single article (as I gather you have). What I want to know is this: where the hell is he?

Women raised in a misogynistic culture do have to fight the tendency to victim blame.

It is puzzling: many women have been talking and writing online about his history of sexual predation and rape for at least a decade, yet he's never been charged with anything, and you still see people raving about how much a part of their childhood he was. He even did an AMA on Reddit a few months ago!

I'm sorry, but I can't agree. Chris whatshisface felt that rage and beat Rhiana only once (from all accounts), but he's still a disgusting human being for doing so, even if he admits it as Huston did. And perhaps it was cathartic for her to write and publish the account, but she doesn't say she's sorry she did it. In

Haha—fair enough! I'm old (Madonna's age!), so it's old news to me.

No, I didn't. My point was that I was disappointed when I learned about Sean Connery, but I never liked Sean Penn, so I couldn't be disappointed when it turned out he was an abuser. I just thought every knew about Penn, which is why I said it cryptically. Obviously, I need to work on clarity.

Sorry—Sean Connery said it, but Sean Penn beat and held hostage Madonna for a couple of days when they were married. What I meant was that I had previously liked Connery until I learned he was an abuser. When I learned that Penn was an abuser, I was disgusted, but never like him anyway.

That incident nullified her cool dudery for me.
