Next cabin over is sad and not scary, nothing paranormal, but an abused woman.

ME TOO.

In the tree house one, how did she know the answer? She didn't see green men, right?

Yeah I loved that and wondered about that, her parents let her have guys over? Or did they not know? Either way I'm sure they'd still hear them having sex, right? Why are parents so dumb.

Guy in a fedora? It's the Hat Man. SCARY ASS SHIT. Google it, tons of people have seen him.

This doesn't seem like a very feminist book.

Oh I see the other replies now. Yeah that's great, no worries!

Women inflicting violence on women can absolutely be a part of patriarchy. Patriarchy is not simply men ruling women, but systemic mechanisms that keep women subordinated. Some women might act as oppressor, but it's to keep the men in power.

Ok, seriously, what is being done, RIGHT NOW, to get Honey Boo Boo out of that molester's clutches?

How utterly terrifying, how awful you had to go through this. I think I would've peed my pants and vomited all at the same time. I would've been terrified to ask for their badge numbers, they definitely seem the type to shoot the dogs out of malice, and protecting the pets is most important in this situation. I hope

I don't know how to post gifs either. Or work Twitter. Sigh... need technology primer badly.

CREEPY. More creepy, to me anyway, aren't you afraid Internet folk will be able to figure out who you are?

This is the most amazing thing ever. Can you please tell us more?

I think it's revealing, of something, that Mama June was buying this disgusto stain on humanity a car. A car. Either she helped with the case and regretted it, or she didn't and was sorry he was put in prison, and is trying to make it up to him.

I absolutely agree, no excuses. But man, what a rough, rough life if that's the case.

That broke my heart, how sad for her children, how utterly sad nothing could be done :( I'm so grateful to Anna for speaking out on this, hopefully Mama June's kids can be safe.

The first time I noticed it was a few years ago now, when the Jez authors posted that first ever group photo of them, a bunch of folks were calling them out— and respectfully I might add— for how white the group was, and those were getting deleted left and right. I mean now, it seems like the staff is more diverse,

mmmm in the past myself and others have seen and called out Jezebel authors who have deleted comments they disagreed with, but which fit none of those categories.

Oh my goodness, how awful if she was a victim and then all this is somehow repeating itself... ughhhh.

Same exact thing happened to me.
