Same. I love Gosling and Stone, love musicals and yet I was bored, and the 4 fellow musical lovers I was with felt the same. I do not get the hype.
I thought it was decent but it seemed like it was on its knees for the academy.
Would you please say if you have seen it? Hope it doesn’t come off as an accusation, but I have read writers and commenters here who have not seen it, but believe the movie to be bad based on the premise alone.
