Whew, I’d take Domino’s over Pizza Hut any day. If you haven’t had Domino’s since before the reformulation years ago, it’s so much better than it was in the “old days.” Pizza Hut around here was so bad that they closed almost all of them a few years ago. There are exactly two left within a 30-mile radius of me.

I worked at a Chuck E Cheese years back. I specifically was an “arcade attendant”, and learned very quickly to put a thick pad of game tokens in the mandated apron in such a way as to provide armor for my groin.

That’s pretty cool. A few years ago, I worked for a company leasing space in the same building Del Taco uses for their headquarters. While corporate was on the floor above us, their test kitchen shared the same floor/hallway with us, and they’d invite our office over for tastings once a month. Of course, it was always

Was looking for this suggestion... satisfied.

Ferrari Mondial

i mean the real answer is the Mondial. but they’re cheap for a gated shifter ferrari, so everyone has convinced themselves that it’s not that bad in the hopes one day they, too, can spend $35K on Bring a Trailer for one and pretend they’re not disappointed

They link to the previous article all about it in the first paragraph.

Wouldn’t it be insight? Both stem from WIS, but some PCs may have proficiency

And perception check.

Sounds like they botched their charisma roll...

It’s not a matter of “cutesy nicknames”; it’s a common writing tool for when you’re writing about multiple subjects in such a way that using pronouns would be confusing, but repeating the name over and over again would come across as, well, repetitive. The brain doesn’t like reading the same word over and over again,

I don’t need a factcheck to realize this is a joke, but apparently a lot of Facebook aunts and uncles do.

you also need to trust that they are honest with the data you provide them by literally sending all your traffic through their servers and not, like, mining the shit out of what you and your family do when you think you are not observed and sell that insight to the highest bidders

First thing I do in every browser is install one.

Generally, but particularly in retail/service, people don’t quit a job, they quit a manager.
