*adjusts monocle* If you haven’t a train awaiting you at the exit from the aeroplane, you are not properly rich.

The problem I see is mainly in the sanitation, while it’s fine while the zero-waste lifestyle is still bougie I would expect that like most mass consumer ventures it ends up getting gross quick. Someone brings in a jar they store lettuce in that has salmonella and suddenly now the produce section is infected with it

The requirements haven’t changed and if you had just followed the law there wouldn’t be a problem.

I for one won’t miss the Harley guys at all when they go quiet.

I’ve been around for a lot of decades and my go to favorite has always been the kung pao chicken. Yes, it seems that the spices have been toned down at all my local Chinese places. One place actually offers “spicy kung pao” and it does seem as though it is as spicy as kung pao from a few decades ago. Mighty tasty and

Thanks!

No they’ve toned down all their dishes over the years. I live in PA Dutch country so people are basically allergic to anything that has more than salt and black pepper in it, the blander it is the better it sells.

The dealership wants to let this go for $40,000.”

Interesting.

Kung pao anything is great, though the only place near me that makes it has toned down the spice in the past decade or so and that’s disappointing :(

“Sure it has 158k miles, but it was rebuilt at 80k*

I was on the fence until the “1-inch tear in the canvas” part. That shit didn’t creep up when they went to post the listing, it was there and they couldn’t be bothered to fix it. So what else couldn’t they be bothered with?

meat and eggs, quickly cooked with vegetables like bean sprouts, cabbage, and celery, all mixed together in a gravy-like sauce and served over rice.”

is it really that hard and time consuming to fry up an egg in the morning? or scramble them? or just hard boil a bunch or make scramble in bulk to your point about the sandwiches. like...it’s not that hard or time consuming, and will still cost you less than $3.77 / day.

That’s why I always endorse the use propane and propane accessories. You want to taste the meat, not the heat.

It’s almost like the law was designed this way by... wealthy corporate donors?

Nah, couldn’t be.

...it’s almost as if we live in a nation with precious little respect or protection for regular working people!

I maybe get the not being able to sue a co-worker, but seems like not being able to sue your employer for damages is suspect, and leaves employees unprotected

Oh God, the self-serve store ground peanut butter. Misery in a mason jar. My parents were members of a food co-op, natch. I very much preferred the stuff we got out of a #10 can because we were on food assistance (before my mom’s hippie phase), although this probably has more to do with the butter and honey my mother

I was going to say, wheat germ ain’t exactly a ‘90s discovery. It’s had a few go-rounds as the nutritional fad du jour.

A “life coach”. I guess if you can’t do, teach.
