Well at least it looks as bad as it sounds like it would taste.
My gal was in the same boat not that long ago, with quite a drive to her school and $1k less, so she got a Lexus ES330 from eons past. It’s fine, a totally acceptable car and not a tiny crapcan; it’s just a little thirstier on gas than some of the suggested entries and also has no bluetooth or aux input, and the worst…
During the early days of COVID when everything was hard to get, my mom ordered us milk powder from Walmart and it’s fine, but honestly not that useful in everyday recipes.
The weird thing is that Dennis is generally fairly even-keeled when it comes to his writing, so this article struck me as even more outlandish.
$4 mil would pay for an awful lot of cops to enforce the rules of the road. I’m not a fan of cops in general, but having something actively enforcing the rules in a consistent manner does a lot better job getting drivers’ attention than billboards.
Why has this administration not ousted DeJoy - a scumbucket whose entire role in becoming Postmaster General was to destroy the US Postal Service so private firms could take its place to better line pockets like his - and reversed course on all these terrible decisions? Lately it feels like everything in this country…
You may be on the wrong site for that take.
I have no idea what these are worth a decade out, I know not to trust Nissan in general, but this seems like an ok deal. These are not terrible, they’re just unique.
I’ve considered chainmail cleaning, but I don’t use my current skillet quite enough to justify it, and I’ve seen some results where the seasoning is scratched to hell that have me worried.
Thanks for the feedback. I have cast iron and have found cleaning it isn’t as easy as everyone says, but it’s also easier than the rest of everyone says, if you know what I mean. I’ve seasoned my cast iron pretty well even though it came with the standard Lodge pre-seasoning, but it’s still got stubborn bits whenever…
Will they give me one for free?
What’s the cleaning like with carbon steel pans? The reason I still use non-stick (I was gonna say “stick with non-stick” then realized) is because I hate cleaning my cast iron skillet, part of that is its weight which the carbon steel won’t suffer, but part of it is just that I don’t want to spend all that time…
Wow, you’ve been baking for 2 weeks and are an expert, good for you. 😜
I’ve always wanted a 32-year-old FWD made by Ford with an engine by Yamaha and a transmission by Mazda with the looks of a Mercury Sable and enough miles to drive to the moon, all for four grand.
George Miller would be great, he clearly still has it, and can obviously shoot car action, but he only makes movies he writes, and his writing would never stoop to this level.
We had a Europa in the family, it mainly didn’t move.
It’s weird, Lin directed possibly the worst entry in the franchise, then the one that saved it, then the dour ones, and in between those a Star Trek movie that wasn’t half bad but audiences didn’t come out because they were soured by the previous Trek movie.
Right? This is totally baffling.
In this market, I’ll call this a NP, but it’s not blowing my mind or anything. It’s an acceptable price seeking a buyer, and it’ll eventually find one, but it won’t be quick.
