You cannot make smaller waffles with your one waffle iron, but you can make smaller pancakes with your one skillet. I’m not trying to make Uncle Buck-sized pancakes over here.

That technique doesn’t sound like a good argument for waffles, it sounds like a huge pain in the ass compared to pancakes.

True, but that requires saving a LOT of receipts. Come to think of it though, Kroger does track my purchases, I could call their corporate headquarters’ phone line and ask them to refund me.
