Burners Baby Burners: Discussion Inferno

Is this beloved though? It’s a pretty middling movie, it doesn’t even understand the dynamics of what the first one got right — nobody gives a crap about watching more of Brian’s policework. FF Fans don’t seem to like it much at all, and not just because it lacks “family”.

I have been trying to hold my proverbial tongue responding to these, but I couldn’t help this. The first half of Gone in 60 Seconds is pretty boring, but my god the second half is amazing, so I have to defend it. Not much of a defense, I will grant you, but that second half is incredibly compelling.

Good point, I hadn’t factored that in.

Weird, at my stores pre-shaped Impossible is very slightly more than Beyond, and that’s not factoring into bulk purchases, while fresh Impossible is nearly double the price of beef. (Beyond Burgers often have good sale prices at Costco, dropping down to nearly a buck a patty which is around what I’d pay for frozen

Call ahead of time, some restaurants close early on the holiday. El Pollo Loco makes a good holiday dinner but only if they don’t close before you get there. Ask me how I know.

Remember to thoroughly clean debris and spice oils out from under the blades afterwards or it will affect your future coffee flavor.

Ad was listed 22 days ago and updated 5 days ago, it’s selling for around $3k more than blue book at these miles (apparently 911 miles average way lower even after 22 years, I had no idea) but in this market that’s not surprising. Yet it hasn’t moved in nearly a month suggesting there is something quite a bit more

(unless you’re doing drugs, don’t stop doing those until after you view this ad)

Except the guy never said how many miles he’s driving, that was Torch’s math assumption to explain the laughable claim which Mr. congressional candidate was making. The dude only said how many times a week he fuels up, that he uses premium, and how much it cost this year vs. last, and then explained he drives in

Every time I see a C8 driving, even when that’s just stuck in traffic on the 405, it looks eye-catching from every angle. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

This guy is full of shit, of that there can be no doubt, but the 13-15 MPG figure could be due to being stuck in traffic. Here in Los Angeles, my base model ‘15 Sonata claims to get 24/36 but realistically gets 22 MPG on traffic-laden freeway trips and 15-ish MPG around town when there’s any congestion whatsoever. Do

True, and the reason is there’s nothing especially luxurious and wealthy-looking about a stretched Chevy Suburban wearing jewelry, a Chrysler 300, or an H2 Hummer, they just look tacky and silly. The Lincoln Town Car remains the people’s limo despite not even being manufactured anymore, while the Maybach remains so

The problem in this society is that there’s been a systemic deconstruction of that vaccine delivery system over the last 40 years, which has now led to a systemic deconstruction of all vaccine delivery systems.

I knew as soon as I saw that title this was Allison’s handiwork. She’s been out week after week with these recipes to add back the 40 pounds I lost during the COVID lockdown.

A) the grocery store has a public restroom.

Florida has been slowly creeping across the country for years, nearly all of it is infected with Florida now.

That doesn’t sound like they stuck the landing on anything but maggoty cheese, which is a shame but not a surprise.

From what I can tell, their core product’s problem is movement: they don’t move enough beef to have hot, fresh beef ready, so they cook what they think they might need ahead of time and when it’s not purchased they plop it into a tub to steam itself silly and get cold; then they slow down the line until demand picks

They figured out what the “P” stood for.
