Hope it turns out all right. The judge sounds... uninformed? There have been a few very public cases that would contradict her stance...

Don’t forget the charts and graphs. Leadership by Powerpoint!

... says the editorial staff of (all the ones being complained about)...

I think that this line of reasoning will fall on deaf ears when directed at MC. When defining demand as “if it sells, then there’s still enough demand to support it”, one gets to supporting loan sharks (“if they’re dumb enough to sign on to these ridiculous rates, then that’s their problem, not mine”), junk insurance

Classified with a (c), you say?

But would that remove him from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, so that they could theoretically get back to actually doing something... anything...?

For the world to see, and to intimidate any internal opposing factions. Nothing like putting the fear of your supposed strength into any dissidents.

Still astounding that that wasn’t enough to start up impeachment proceedings. If Hillary or Obama or Bill had gone and done that, I would wonder how fast proceedings could possibly have been brought, and by how many.

Not this guy, right?

Not ICE, but Border Patrol...

My take is that they assisted the tea party and the southern secessionists in their goal, not the other way around. It wouldn’t have been possible to have done it so cheaply without so much of the groundwork having already been laid.

Other than individual states attempting to institute recalls (its own path towards a constitutional crisis), or the House itself kicking members out (about on the same level, given how pervasive those that refuse to do their actual job have become), or the next round of federal elections...

This blurb made me gnash my teeth... no right to counsel? Really?

It would be fitting if the money came directly out of the ICE budget, I suppose.
