It took 3 years before you had sex and there was a lot of grooming on her part to make you see yourself as an adult man that she could have a romantic and sexual relationship with.

You THINK you were the pursuer, but hun, it’s called “grooming”, and you were a child while she was a grown woman. And to compare these sort of power imbalances with homosexuality is really fucking problematic.

If these were two gay people being persecuted for their orientation, this column would be full of outrage.

It’s obvious and sad and bears repeating: there have been a lot of amazing women who we will never hear about because only men were allowed to keep track.

I would watch Kate Winslet in a three hour movie of her reading the phone book. I’ve been obsessed with her since I saw her in Titanic in 4th grade. She can do no wrong. Throw in Idris Elba and I am 100% there on opening day.

It’s a great book. Hopefully with these two starring, it will be a terrific film.

you’re seriously going to condone the use of nuclear weapons on a civilian population? there’s really not much else to respond to - that is such a ridiculous and unjustifiable position.

I just finished watching this a few weeks ago and it was literally everything I’ve ever wanted in life. Everyone on this show is perfect and I want to be friends with them all (except Paul, he’s meh).

“a program that has no business being as good as it is”

Do yourself a favor and start watching Escape to the Country on Netflix. Then watch the other 630 episodes on YouTube.

you bring up a good point - the number of casualties in a conflict is not necessarily a good way to determine who is more right or wrong.

You can get away with all sorts of Jew-bashing and moral equivocation as long as you can label it “anti zionism.” Israel is one of those countries that it’s ok to universally revile and loathe and foam at the mouth about on the internet no matter what they do. Real people don’t actually live there in a lot of people’s

Both countries have committed war crimes against one another, but considering Israel occupied Southern Lebanon for 15 years I can understand (even if I don’t agree) why a film with a pro-IDF actress is controversial in Lebanon.

I just wanted to point out that your statement was incomplete. My point went back to that it was not her sin to be born in Israel, but that I was not happy about her being a Zionist.

Jew here, dislike Israel. There is a difference between being born and Israel and being a staunch fucking Zionist. I do not believe I have a right to Israel just because I am Jewish.

yeah, good on you for pointing that out. lebanon has the moral high ground. the following are just the civilian casualties:

Did you just compare a person who’s only “sin” was that she was born in Israel a Jewish person no less and is proud of her country to an avowedly racist and open Neo-Nazi? Because that is bloody low dude.

“What’s the big deal? I thought Wonder Woman’s people were all lebanese.”
